Right, because that's exactly all they're doing. Changing reality strengthens arguments.

I find it hilarious that in one thread you complain about emotionally weighted statements, and then use one in a situation where it's not appropriate. A smart, intelligent man you are.

I think we all make the mistake of thinking H*R is bigger than it is...

It has amassed much success. I'm sure they make over $100-500,000 a year on it now. But I'm not so sure about that "millions" I was thinking before. Who knows really? Obviously if they made millions, I think they actually WOULD quit. Or do something else.

I think, the site is bigger in our eyes than theirs. They probably still think of it as just this fun thing they do... make cartoons and stuff and wow... get paid for it.

TBC have never been mean to their fans. But they also don't make themselves out to be any kind of celebrities. Sure they're successful thanks to us, I still believe that. If NOT for us, they would not be where they are.

But they probably don't really care either way if we keep supporting them or not. They probably figure this ride will eventually end and they're just enjoying it while it lasts. They make no real attempts to try to make tons of cash by being pushy in trying to sell their stuff. Go to Joe Cartoon or a million other flash sites. Some of them end their toon with a link to a plush toy or such for you to buy. Ebola World has blatantly (in a joking manner) said for you to buy their stuff. H*R never really persuades you to do anything. Mainly because they don't have to.

No, they took a break. They didn't say they were going to... maybe they didn't think they'd take such a long one... maybe after they were gone they just didn't feel like adding the button... probably someone else (their parents) update the store seperately.... etc. etc.

I think they just still see it as it was when they started. Their goofy site with their stupid toons... and amazingly people buy our crap! They came back... with only one thing to give us... so they were like NOTHING ELSE! .... sure there's no sorry afterwards.... there was no vacation button to let us know where they went... maybe they didn't think about it.

Either way, I think we (some of us) are taking it too personally. If you actually TALKED to TBC about it, I'm sure they'd be a bit surprised we were so offended. They probably meant nothing by it. Sadly, a million people's emails of "What happened" probably will not ge a response. StrongBad has better emails to answer.

They've been to this site and they're pretty aware how we feel about them.

Who says they read these boards? They USE the wiki for their work. Stuff they can't remember and stuff. If they do read these boards it's probably ONCE in a blue moon.

Also. Maybe they are aware. And think we're all crazy to be so obsessed over their toons.

How "we" feel?

I thank you to NOT try to speak for myself, let alone a majority of us here.. I think the fact that most people that use this forum haven't said anything here at all would suggest that most people don't care that they took a break, or at least, don't feel strongly enough about the break to change their opinions of TBC.

I, for one, don't care if they take another month off. If the material was starting to slip (or if they were just running out of gas), the site would be better for it. I would think a fan, such as yourself, would agree.

Funny how the second part of your post contradicts the first part. I'm ignoring you now.

Hey, thanks for the flaming! Way to keep from getting emotional. Anyway, it was a mock-quote of you designed to be nothing but an emotional appeal since, well, that's all you have done so far.

Anyway, ignoring your puerile sarcasm... I was asking a question. What is it that you're even complaining about? As far as I can tell, you're upset that people who are posting free humor on the internet for you didn't call in sick, as if they're in your employ and not freelance comedians doing what they love. All you appear to have done here is name-calling, saying that everyone is just sucking up to TBC. Your statements are meritless.

This is retty much the "pass the flaming ball with flaming sticks" style of arguing I mentioned in your other thread.

I'm locking this thread until another extended TBC argument to stop the flame war.
