I must admit, I own JD. He owes me. I fully told him about H*R and he loves it.
So I'm taking my hat off to...
Myself!
Yay!

Same with me, lots of people at my school don't like H*R, my friend from a different school will watch it occasionaly, if I send him the link.

TELL WHAT U THINK! can be explained and hopefully comprehended on the Off-Topic Discussion post entitled "Tell what you think?" with somewhere in the neighborhood of nine or ten pages.

i've tried to get them into it but it hasn't worked. Though two of them play the Trogdor game a lot.

This isn't some kind of contest here. Whoever converts the most does not win any sort of prize.

I just had the wonderful experience of wasting the entire rest of my friend's free time this summer by introducing her to the world of Homestar. She "just missed the boat" when the site came out, and thought she couldn't see it because of such. Now, she says that she's going to be making up for lost time :p

I got my brother hooked, and now every time I go to visit him and his fiancee, we annoy the crap out of her by talking only in H*R references and also acting like annoying little kids

A couple friends were into TGS for a while, but now only watch what I make them watch. They like some of the songs on the CD, tho.

My mother thinks the whole site is annoying and thinks the characters are ugly, I restrain, I guess not all adults are into it

ive told most of my friends, but theyre not too into it (unlike the shap-ed plants).

one of them said its because ive got "a different sense of humor." i guess shes right...you do have to be at least a little crazy to like it.

I tried converting a couple of people I know into H*R fans: one never got around to it, the other did, but jsut thought it was stupid. I persisted in the form of H*R inside jokes in conversations and explanations, and nagged at them to give it another shot, but apparently to no avail. Shame.

It's like the trickle down theory....of Homestar Runner. Adam Smith was right about something!

Yeah.

All of my friends know about Homestar by now, but none of them REALLY likes it that much. One of them says it hurts his brain, and another one just isn't that interested, and another one actually likes it quite a bit (with her favorite feature being TGS), but never actually really goes to the site ever. Oh, and I told one of my friends at school about it and he watched about two things and liked them and then never went back to the site again. So I haven't exactly been successful.

Okay, this is kinda long so you might wanna read it pretty fast

My friend first told me about the website back in Sept. '05 but really I didn't make it there until Dec. '05 (yeah i know, i'm way behind) as soon as I clicked "Come On In" right away I noticed the "First Time Here?" button and clicked on it. Then I watched evry single toon on the site and maybe about 7 sbemails. Then around February, when I got my second report card from school, my dad has always promised to get my brother and I something if we got good marks, which I did so I went to the Homestar store, picked out the limited edition Stinkoman 20X6 t-shirt and waited a good three weeks for it, it was worth the wait, then my friend that showed the website to me, she knew I had an obbsession, since I already had a shirt and the freebie, then I started to build up a collection of merchandise and tell other friends about the site by starting them off with the halloween toon "The House That Gave Sucky Treats" now almost all of my friends know and enjoy H*R, and it's all thanks to my best friend who told me about it before.
