I think it would be cool if H*R made a toolbar for their site that you could download and stuff (like a google toolbar). It could have links for each menu page (Main pages dropdown box, Toons, Shorts, Downloads, Sbemails dropdown box, etc.) that would be awesome, anyone agree?

Oh, yeah, and this is my first post....so hi!

hi. i'm not in charge but i do know your sig be big. there is a fan-made toolbar that allows one to search the wiki, but you have to use firefox, which you should really get, trust me.

You know what i think would be a useful feature? When you go to a H*R page, there would be a button on the toolbar to go straight to the HRWiki page corresponding with the H*R page. So when you're looking at a sbemail and you wonder about something, you click the botton and you go straight to the Wiki page on it. You don't have to go through the (okay, so i'm lazy..) trouble of going to the wiki site and finding the page...
There would also be a blinking button every time somehting new comes out, and you could click a button to say "i've already seen this" so it would stop blinking.

well thats my two cents.

I don't know much about making firefox extensions, but that might be able to be made. If there's soemthing on each HR page that makes it distainctive from the rest, like, say the filename for the flash on that page. You could make a certain filename correspond to the name of the wiki article, and have the name go to hrwiki.org/article name, or something. Taht would be pretty cool.

I personally have no clue about how to program toolbars. But I know that the flash filename is different per page. sbemail24.swf is specific to sbemail 24... etc. There is only one SWF file per page. Sounds doable when you put it that way. does anyone know anyone with the programming ability? Idea--- merge the hrwiki search bar with a bar that would include the feature i described. someone (that isn't me) ready---- GO!

Tom wrote a Greasemonkey script that automatically adds an appropriate link to the Wiki to every page on H*R.com. Unfortunately it's a bit broken, but I bet I can fix it. Please hold and cross your fingers that I don't get distracted.

Edit: Disregard the above. Check out Phlip's Greasemonkey script, which Tom describes as "The mother of all H*R Greasemonkey scripts." Seriously, this thing's got it all.

i don't know what a greasemonkey is, but it sounds unhealthy.

i've got all the H*R extensions i can find. my most favourite is two buttons for every sbemail, a next and previous. the fullscreen extension is also cool.

It's a Firefox extension to modify web pages on-the-fly, for example, to resize flash animations to fill the whole window.

Those were both originally greasemonkey scripts. Greasemonkey is an extension that allows people to install custom user scripts to websites (without downloading an extension or anything). I can always update my carpy toolbar to make it like this, but Mozilla Update doesn't respond very fast anymore; it usually takes a few weeks at least for them to approve extensions and stuff.

EDIT: Wow. That thing's pretty awesome. Everyone download it.

Your sig is too big, and on top of that, it's missing a well-needed apostrophe.

I'd want a toolbar with buttons like this:

a button that brought a dropdown box that had each main page, a button for toons, shorts, games, characters, downloads, sbemails, and HRwiki.

Redeem'd! (Well, except for the spelling--Mozilla != Italian cheese!)

That's kinda slick. Here's a screenshot for the curious-but-timid:

It's gonna be a pain to keep it updated with every new toon and such, though.

Yeah. I figured. I don't know if I will add all of the toons. I just finshed the games and characters though.

Can we get, like... a changelog? (And it seems like Version 1 was more of a 0.1 or 0.5--and I mean that in the nicest way possible. Remember, these days it's cool to be beta!)

Is there an RSS feed for SB Emails and updates? That would help a lot.

Holy Futhernuggets! Sweet toolbar!

I don't know much about stuff like this, so if it really isn't that impressive, bear with me. But I think it's great! Thanks for the download. Now my Bookmarks aren't so cluttered because I can remove the H*R link and the Wiki and Wiki Forums links.

Sorry about the double post, but

from the link, the other link that says to install it just takes me straight to the program's makeup or file or whatever and nothing else happens. How do I install it?

First, get Firefox, then install Greasemonkey.
Then when you click the link on my page, it'll pop up a thing that says "This is a Greasemonkey user script. Click Install to start using it." Click install, and it'll install it.

No, quite sadly there isn't. There is, however, an unofficial RSS feed out there somewhere that scrapes the Wiki's H*R.com updates page, but that would be one heck of a kludge.

Edit: Ah, here we go.

What site did you use to make that? There's a site on which I am a member and many people have been begging for a toolbar for it. If I post the website you used, I'll bet someone on the website I mentioned could make one.
