Once again, sorry for the double post, but

That Greasemonkey script is great! Thanks to whoever made it! So useful... I've always wished TBC would add pause, fast forward, rewind, etc. buttons. Plus, the wiki attachment is really nifty.

Version 2'd!

What site did you use to make that? There's a site on which I am a member and many people have been begging for a toolbar for it. If I post the website you used, I'll bet someone on the website I mentioned could make one.

I use a software called ToolbarStudio and it is just a demo so it has a stupid link to it in the toolbar thingy. Anyway, the page is

http://www.besttoolbars.net

Minib, have you had any problems with FireFox only allowing one toolbar made by that program to show up? I made a toolbar for the site I mentioned and when I installed it, it replaced the HSR Toolbar on my browser!

Hey minib, how'd you get the search bar to only search the wiki? The only choices available on the program are Google, Yahoo, etc.

There are some properties somewhere where you can edit where it searches. It should have a text box where you type in the address.

So what URL did you use? Is it possible to have a URL for a Search Box?

Well, I've waited 16 days for download.com to release this, but it's here... Hope this doesn't offend someone... I never saw this topic before somehow. Anyway, having used the Firefox extension myself, I created an enhanced counterpart for IE.

Features include:
  • Direct link to Homestar Runner and Videlectrix
  • Ability to jump to any toon via toon name or filename, ala the Firefox extension
  • Direct WIKI link
  • Immediate searching of the WIKI
  • "GoTo" for any section of the site
  • Random toon button
  • No advertisements or annoying outside links

I know this seems like I'm stealing someone's idea, but, in fact, I'm not. This has been in the works for some time, and I hope everyone enjoys it! (Besides, without competition, where would the fun be?)

If anyone's interested, you can get it from Download.com here.

Additionally, after reading the posts here, I'm looking into adding the features that have been requested, though I don't know how many of them are possible. I'll post more updates later.

EDIT: There's now a Fanstuff wikilink with a better screenshot than the one on Download.com. Check it out here.

The Non-Beta Version 1 of the HSR Toolbar is out! This has all the old Version 2 Beta features along with:

* An RSS feed of the Homestarrunner.com Updates (IE Only)
* All the toons
* Cleaned-up layout with TGS and MAM links

You can download it by going to the HSR Toolbar page here.

Yes, I know there is another topic about the same HSR Toolbar, but that was started out as a discussion about how cool it would be to have an HSR Toolbar. I thought this deserved it's own topic.

I didn't. Merged.
