Has everyone seen the new "Support The Municipality!" wallpaper?

I put it on my desktop right away.

it seems like something that's gonna end up somewhere bad. forget that, i've got poor judgement.
well, actually i haven't got the wallpaper on this computer, it's my mom's, and she hates H*R. i have it on my user at school. my classmates think it looks awesome and the admin haven't deleted it, so i have a good feeling about it.

Right when I saw the wall paper, I instantly put it up. It's freaking awesome.

That would be awesome. I don't remember the wallpaper of the week, though. Was it before my time? I've been visiting the website ever since "new hands".

I put it up for about a week, but then it got old so I took it off. I change wallpaper often.

Me too. My current desktop is an "artist's rendering" of a comet hitting earth. Pretty pwnsome. ( I just invented the word pwnsome, I think)

No.

You didn't.

Still, that DOES sound pretty pwnsome.

Well I invented it in the sense that I've never heard it b4, and I just said it. Besides, I knew someone would Google it and say "Nuh UHHHHH!!!!" At least you were nice about it. :)

Yeah, that's the difference not using capital letters makes. :D

I have it on my desktop. I really like it, although it is kinda colorless and boring. But it was just too cool to pass.

I changed it mostly because I didn't really think it was funny. Does it have something to do with Star Wars of something?

It's a parody of propaganda posters issued by totalitarian governments like China, Nazi Germany, & the former USSR.

I think it's hilarious. I'm a big fan of George Orwell and my favorite movie is Brazil, so it's right up my alley. I think it's funnier if you're familiar with 1984 and other dystopian fiction like it. When I see the wallpaper, it makes me imagine the King of Town as a Big Brother type character who oppresses the inhabitants of Free Country USA.

The thing is, if the KoT were an omnicient dictator, he would probably use the position to look what's inside everyone's fridge. Then he'd send the secret police into their homes to "confiscate" food on the grounds of treason.

A reference won't be funny if someone has to explain it to you.
