Wearing H*R Pharaphnielia?
I did once wearing my Homsar shirt at Cedar Point.
And also at school when I wear it.

I get noticed a lot when I wear my H*R related shirts. Mostly at school or at the mall. This one guy gives me a discount at a sports place because we like to talk about H*R.

I went to a theme park in New York wearing my The Cheat shirt and some guy said "All right! The Cheat! Awesome, man!" He was, like, 40.

Yeah, well. I do get a lot of people coming up to me and saying "Homestarrunner.net", but obviously they're the "fans" who have only watched the First Time Here? video because they can't come up with a batter quote than that...

You have some awesome friends then. I wish I could get all my friends to watch H*R like I do.

Well they are pretty awesome, but I'm the only one whose joined a HR forum. So they're not crazy-fans like me. :p

I probably would if I had any H*R shirts. :/ Lots of geeky college kids in this town, I'm sure a lot of them would be geeky enough to get the reference. :)

The guys from Rooster Teeth gave a shoutout when I met them at Toronto's Comicon last summer. I was wearing my Troggie shirt.

Some kids in school recognized my Strong Bad shirt. However, no one was enough of a fan to know where my Scalding Lake shirt came from.

So I'm stepping out of the library, me and three friends. I'm wearing a Homsar t-shirt. As I walk out, a rotund ginger guy, a bit like Harry Knowles with glasses, comes right up to me and stares at my t-shirt. I thought he recognised it, but a moment later he asks me what it is. So I told him and we made a hasty escape. Weird man, weird

Otherwise I've had one or two recognitions, including one guy who started pawing at it, though that can be chalked up to inside jokery rather than poor social skills

who on earth has ever come to HR.com and only watched "First Time Here"? I thought that was about the tenth thing most people looked at after all the emails people usually direct them to

Twice at school I was stopped in the hall, once for my Stinkoman shirt and once for my Trogdor bag. And last year I heard some people on the lawn over there talking about my Strong Bad bag (before I gave it to my friend Emily after I bought the Trogdor one). No one seems to have noticed my TGS tote, though.

If some guy started pawing a my shirt like that, I'd be creeped out. Poor social skills? No. Just plain creepy? Yes.

I was at the airport one time, and this guy walks past me singing the "Everybody!" song... A guy running a booth for the Local College gave me a pen. Awesome girl at a TMBG concert. Lots of Crazy Looks.

It's fun. Like I'm part of a secret club.

That also reminds me when I was at Cedar Point that day, one of the ride ops said:
"Homestarrunner? That's pretty funny stuff man."

I was eating at some famous Memphis restraunt with my Strong Sad shirt once. This kid and his mother were rushing past us, and the kid was like, "Mom, look, it's Strong Sad!" and she said, "Not now!"

I've been noticed elsewhere with them, mainly amusement parks and school.

While walking around in the Wallingford district of Seattle, I noticed someone wearing a Homestar beanie. That was awesome.

I do get quite a bit of attention for my Homestar stuff, though. Attending evening class, a fellow student (who I found out works at my company) spotted my red "The Cheat" shirt and proclaimed, "Yes!!! Homestar Runner!" We discovered it was a great way to separate the internet 733ts with the posers. So what if you have a PDA phone with a pull out keyboard? You're not cool unless you can identify Homestar Runner. (This is evening MBA class, btw, so I guess our fandom is beyond the typical college clientele.)

And, at work, a some have noticed my cool Homestar coffee coaster. A great way to meet new friends.

Sadly, no one gets my Homsar shirt. Or what the heck "Raised by a cup of coffee means." :homsar:

I wasn't aware it meant anything in the first place. :P Though when you thinm about it, since it isn't a true Homsar-ism... hmm...

Anydangway. I don't have any Homestar shirts, so it, like, sucks to be me. :/

I had a TSA agent at the Lexington, KY airport ask me about my Strong Bad shirt. That was kinda funny. He was like "what is that? A band?". When I told him it was an internet cartoon he seemed kinda interested.

Like I say, I already knew the guy, it could be chalked up to a joke between two people. If I hadn't known the guy I would've been out of there sharpish

i don't have any shirts either. although, one time, i saw this guy at school with a sign saying 'i listened to system of a down today', so i made my own sign saying, 'yeah, well i listened to the system is down today!'. most people just said "it's system of a down, retard!" others said "yeah, man! that song's better!"

Homestar Runner fans are like members of the Fight Club. ;)

For our next assignment, pick a fight with a total stranger and lose.

Also one time at EB Games all the guys who worked there noticed my :hr: hoodie and said "Chris! Get out here and look at this kid's shirt! It's got EBaums world on it!" and I was all "EBaums? No way, Homestar's got his own wedsite!" I spelled it wrong on purpose.

I get noticed... DRAWING Homestar Runner stuff, but I never wear my shirt. It's really faded and kinda big on me so I sleep in it XD I don't believe they make it anymore. Navy blue, with Homestar on it? Anyone?

Meh.

that's what i love about it. they have their own website, they don't have to post it on amateur sites, much like the magical trevor toons.

I don't have a shirt, but I noticed an American guy wearing a shirt, when a whole bunch of Nave guys were in my town.
I did a double-take and I saw Homsar, so I told the guy that he's pretty awesome.

I haven't received any recognition with my Trogdor shirt at all, but I wore my Pilz-e ADD shirt and in 4th period a peer walks up and says "All right, Foamy! You're now my super best friend forever!" I'm a little confused over how Homestar Runner wasn't noticed but Neurotically Yours did. I suppose it's because H*R only sells their stuff online.

Last semester I had a math teacher who liked H*R, and she was laughing when she saw a drawing of Trogdor burninating the peasants.

I guess I can try to spread it around the school.

I've probably posted this before, but...

I went to a theme park, wearing my Limozeen shirt...

VOICEOVER GUY FOR THE RIDE: TONITE, WE'LL BE ROCKING OUT TO LIMOZEEEEEEEEEEN-UH!

The song wasn't actually Limozeen, but when I got off, I went and talked to him. He was quite cool...

Awesome, awesome fancy danish. (What song was it? I'm curious, if you can remember.)

There was actually a girl in my Orchestra class one year who had an home-made "Possums..." shirt. I had no idea what it meant for a long time, until I actually watched some TGS.
