Sometime after Senorial Day/Bubsotathon I began having trouble accessing the .swf files on homestarrunner.com. I had no trouble viewing swf files from other sites in browser, but for some reason all the swf files on h*r.com would simply download. At the time I was using Safari. Now I'm using Firefox and the swf files still immediately begin downloading. Again, I can view swf files on other sites in the browser, just not h*r. Has anyone else had trouble like this? It's starting to tick me off. :sm:

Have you tried reinstalling Flash?

Several times. Again, it's only a problem with H*R.com. Nowhere else on the internet does this problem happen.

I had the exact same problem for a very long time, but it's working for me now, at least for almost all flash files. I think there's a setting in about:config somewhere, but I can't find it. Also, when it asks you to download it, you can choose Open and open it with firefox.exe and see what happens.
Of course, if you want to view the Homestar Runner cartoons in the best way possible (fullscreen, seekbar, wiki link, and everything), install Phlip's script for Greasemonkey.

I'm on a Mac, though. It doesn't even give me an option of what to do. It just downloads it.

Ohhh, there have been a lot of problems with Firefox on Mac. Oh well, I'd still recommend that Greasemonkey extension. It will change your life.
