Seeing Homsar as Cats = KIND of amusing. Sort of.

Seeing H*R applied to an internet fad that stopped being funny about four years ago = not amusing. At all. In the slightest.

Ive seen this. I still like the song but it does get boring fast.

The song is good, I can say that (and perhaps the only thing of real worth that came out of the AYB thing), but seriously, AYB ran its course ages ago. Had this been posted during the heyday of the AYB phenomenon, it wouldn't have been so bad, but now it's just kind of sad.

I think AYB might be back. I've noticed a lot of people quoting it at some forums I go to. I don't know. It was a pretty cool toon.

Ahhhh I really liked it, loved the orginal and this is better.I did have the internet during the all your base fad, but i have seen some "all your base" Little quote thingees.I liked how much all your base things there were, and just like http://www.allyourbasearebelongtous.com/ some were easy and Like some were plain.

Ya the song gets kindve repetitive but i like it, i get it stuck in my head and now i need to watch it again.Well my fav kind of music IS techno........ Oh well. http://www.flashplayer.com/animation/st ... tures.html
Uhhh above tricky near the bathtub and Star foxes Cooking robe thingy says "all your base are belong to the cook" Im pretty sure this wasnt from a Really long time ago.

By the way, who knows what game that is?I think i remember somthing about it on a site but i forgot.(its obvious its not from this country) and Im Also wondering what system.I bet its one that doesnt really exist anymore but i still want to know.I could get it off of ebay though. Itd be pretty Sweet to see the all your base scene. I wonder if the whole game is badly translated, or maybe that scene is just the worst, and cuz that line is cool. Eh thats it.

First of all, anyone know what a "'zig" is? And what's up with Cats?

Secondly, I think All Your Base Are Belong to Us appears over Tricky at one point in the Star Fox Misadventures thing.

Hey, here's an idea. TBC should make a toon about this, but with the characters switched. It could go a'something like this:

"In A.D. 20X6"
"War was beginning"
Bang, crash, so on.
:homsar: : Oh no. You shanked my jengaship!
:bubs: : Somebody a' set us up a bomb!
:coachz: : We're getting signal!
:homsar: : Whaaat?
:coachz: : Morn scrain turn on!
:homsar: : DaAaAaAaAaAaA! It's the Santa Maria...
 : But I don't want to do a game joke! I don't even like video games!
:sb: : You'll do it, or be shoved into the washing machine!
 : Okay, okay. But I won't like it. Umm.. **looks at script** How are you, gentlemen. All of your base belongs to us.
:sb: : That's not it!
 : I'm not saying this! This is bad grammar!
:sb: : Say it!
 : All your base are belong to us. You are on the way to destruction.
:homsar: : DaAaAaAaAaAaAaA! What you say?
 : You have no chance to survive make your time. Ha ha ha ha. Okay, can I go home now?
:sb: : You'll do no such thing!
:homsar: : DaAaAaA! Take off every zig!
:sb: : Keep going...
:homsar: : You knoooow what you doing. Mooove zig. For late lettuce.
:sb: : Did he just say late lettuce?
:bubs: : Yep. I think he did.
:sb: : What does that mean?
**The real Cats appears**
Cats: He means all your base are belong to us.
:sb: / :bubs: / :coachz: : Aaaaaaah!
**Another "All your base" thing starts, only better, since it was made by TBC**

How was that?

I didn't realize how much I missed AYB until now. Of course, I could never find anyone who understood.
And Film, I liked your take. Good jorb!

It is the intro on Zero Wing. Which I think was on the Sega Genesis.

People are asking what game it's from AFTER I linked to an article about AYB? I'm loved.

Uh.. Ok, I'm here to answer a few questions. Like Another Fan said, it's the intro to the Sega Genesis version of Zero Wing. The Atari version, which was released in Japan, was sent over to the U.S., and Sega developers in Japan also sent an intro. Now, the story is that the translation people there weren't the best, thus the grammar. In the game, you are a Zig, a 2 dimensional side-scrolling ship. Here are a few screens..

The main screen

The game. (that little dinky ship is you)

Unfortunately, I am a decent person. I only got the ROM for the Atari version which I actually own, since getting the Sega ROM would be stealing (emulator ROMs).

Is the american Zero Wing translated correctly? As in, "All of your base belongs to us"?

I saw InterruptorJones... I was going to mention it, but I forgot. Oh, and I meant the american version- the one they put up for sale.

That was actually pretty good.. Definately the best AYB parody I've ever seen. This thing blows the second best one, which is, in my opinion, All Your Tourist Guy Are Belong to Us out of the water. Ya did a great jorb. Er, great jeeeerb, er whatever.. LOL

At first, It was plain annoying, and then, I got hooked onto it. And also, the world isn't round in the cartoon.
Edit:I found out today (Oct. 9, 2004) I found out my friend Nicholas Trotman made this in five minutes. He would have made the world round, but he was very hungry. And tired. He also just pasted pictures of  in the beginning. And he too k random shots and made them into N' Zig, All your base are belong to us!, etc. And Cats' voice is from Metroid Prime.
