Sorry if this has been posted - I don't think so, though.
Check out this extension that allows you to watch Homestar in (almost) full-screen mode (what kind of beeeooooww sound does that make?) in Firefox.
Okay, I have an exam tomorrow and really should be studying instead of playing around on here.

I've been using the equivalent Greasemonkey script for six months or so, that is until Tom pointed me to Phlip's Greasemonkey script, which not only does the fullscreen thing but also adds a seek bar, pause button, and wiki links.

Edit: Fixed link.

Wow, I guess I was either not paying attention or it didn't strike me at the time how cool that would be. Cool.

Edit to IJ and whoever tries to click that link: you accidentally put a "y" in front of the link, so the clicky no worky right now.

I installed that extension a couple weeks ago. It rocks. It's just another reason Firefox is a great browser. I also have the one with the "previous" and "next" buttons for the Strong Bad Emails.

Oh, Phlip's Greasemonkey script does that, too. :)

Man, you don't know how fun it is seeing threads come up all the time where someone comes in and points out how awesome I am.

Well, IJ, I know you do, but that's besides the point.

If you have Greasemonkey installed, when you click that link it should say "This is a Greasemonkey script, click here to install it" or something similar... click that, and it'll install itself.

If you don't have Greasemonkey installed, you'll need to get that first. Install, restart Firefox, and go back to the script.

Just close all the Firefox windows and start it up again.

This is the part where you tell us oh, I don't know, maybe what error it keeps having?

Well that's pretty ugly. I have no idea what it means. I suggest uninstalling it, then installing Greasemonkey and Phlip's script.

I've tried that, but it hasn't worked... Is there another place to get this script other than the HRWiki? I could try downloading it from there...

I've been watching Homestar in true fullscreen in IE for a LONG time. Just open the swf file and then F11.

That's all well and good--works the same in Firefox--but when you do it that way you tend to get weird stuff going on at the edges, which detracts from the enjoyment. Not to mention you have to track down the name of the .swf file.

For some reason it doesn't work on "Virus" though.

EDIT: Actually I can understand why it doesn't because of all the stuff that happens on the edges of the screen.

Not so, all you do is... after you watch the toon all the way through, hit save page as... now you have the swf file on your computer, and, if you hit f11, it hides the stuff at the edges because it's in full screen mode now, turn off the navbar, and it's fullscreen with no distractions.

I save every cartoon and email onto my computer so I can watch them anytime whether I'm online or not.

IE Stinks compared to firefox.

Yeah, I know how it works (like I said, it works exactly the same in Firefox), but unless your browser's content area has the exact same aspect ratio as H*R.com's "black box," you're still gonna get stuff around the edges sometimes. I'm just saying, it's easy to install the Greasemonkey script and so useful, why not use it?

Because As you said, the aspect ratio of my browser is apparently the same as H*R's "black box" so I don't see any point in downloading something extra (although a pause button would be nice).

and I'm not sure that greasemonkey would even work on linux...

Windows stinks

Greasemonkey works in Firefox on every platform.
