That code can only be entered at the console which the player must pull up... The roads are still there, they're just invisible. It will apply to all neighborhoods, not just FCUSA. And if I recall correctly, the roads will still display in the house views...just not the neighborhood view. So it really won't help us here. Thanks though!

Sonicfan, can you really do that? Make a landmass shaped like the USA and import it into Sims 2?! You...would be my hero...

I'm about to head out and take a fancy IQ test to join Mensa...when I get back I'll package Strong Bad (the whole Sim, not just the textures) and post him here.

If you wanna get rid of the roads when you're in a certain house, use "move_objects on". Then you can delete the roads as if they were flooring, plus other cool stuff (Just don't delete your sim, that causes problems. Usually not severe, but it can do weird things)

Yeah, I used the moveobjects on thing for quite a bit of stuff, but didn't know it would work for the road too. Interesting...

OK, Mensa gave me a headache, but I think I got in! Now that that's done, HERE'S STRONG BAD!

EDIT: Right click the link and save-as whatever you want. For some reason it tries to save as XML. Once it's saved, rename it to StrongBad.Sims2Pack, and it should change to a Sims2 icon. Double-click it then to install SB.

Well, I know that it would've just made the roads invisible in the neighborhood view. I kind of liked to have a more aesthetic overview of Free Country.

Plus, any .AVI file can be put into TV program files (Like SBN, Kidztube, etc.) that's 128x128 and has a maximum 15 fps. It would be funny for Strong Bad to watch his house tour on the TV. It freezes the game for a moment while it loads, though. And The Sims 2 saves videos in an .AVI format as well. I got this huge conversation I recorded onto SBN. Well, not huge. More of many many people at once.

So, instead of the normal programming, there can be "Whadda Know, Haddi-Man?", "Limozeen: But They're In Space!", "Half Hour Metal Dungeon Hour", and "Caleb Redpayer" along with other programs we've seen. And maybe a game or two between CGNU and another school. I suspect that if doing this is possible, then it might be also possible to get the Trogdor arcade machine to play Trogdor. Even if it's a Sim-like re-make.

If you're wondering where I'm getting all this, I'm getting it off of the Sims 2 page on Gamespot.

Hmmm, this didn't work for me. Does anyone know if this is a problem with the server, or is my computer just acting up again?

What expansion have you intalled last? Or is it just Sims 2? Because the skin might need something later to be able to be used.

It might depend on which version of the Sims 2 he's running. It might have added something he's not even aware of to it...

I put a basement/nightclub for bubs, Along with four floors of shopping and a restaurant connected via elevator.

So far bubs sells Robots Toys. flowers, magazines, games, and food....

Wow, sorry for being gone for so long.

Yeah, well it never stopped.

The thing that makes me want to shoot my old computer is this: it's gone. My computer crashed HARD. REALLY hard. I work in a tech support company and have access to more than 3000 techs nationwide. None of them could figure out the problem, and I even shipped the compy out to our best guy, and HE couldn't get it working.

So I have a new comp now that kicks more butt than ever, but... no Sims 2 neighborhood.

I'd have to start *ALL OVER*.

Even those videos and pics I posted are gone now, so I can't even use them as reference. I'm really sorry, everyone. Maybe sometime when I get bored enough. For now, however, I have a book to finish writing. (At least I was smart enough to back THAT up in about a thousand different places!)
