Hi, i was wondering. What is "tasteball"?

:homsar: Homsar: "AaaAAaAAAAHHH, Its time for tasteball"

:hr: Homestar: "Oh cwap its tasteball already?"

I'm from England and i've never heard of it before

Is it something from the USA or is it just another random thing said by Homsar?

Thanks

BoShek

The second one. We're weird over here, but not that weird.

i'd like to imagine what exactly tasteball would be if it did exist....
some type of ball-related sport involving a large jawbreaker for the ball? hmmm.

Maybe it's a game where you have to hold the ball in your mouth... or it's played with an edible ball, and the winner gets to eat it :P

You know though IJ, I wouldn't be half surprised if some H*R fan actually invented Tasteball. We seem to be weird enough to do something like that.

Two words: Hush puppy bowling. Ohyes.

...Or, you know, maybe not. Maybe it's like Calvinball.

I googled it, and I found this :
"TO THOSE OF YOU UNFAMILIAR TASTEBALL IS SIMPLY BASEBALL WITH A TENNIS RACKET."
Hmm...

I'd prefer to think it was the fielders that have the racket instead of the batter. Maybe baseball would actually be interesting if something like that happened. I can't decide if it would be better to keep the ball in the air or try to hit the players directly with the tennis racket.

I can't hit airborn objects for my life. I can CATCH them no problem, but give me a racket or a bat and I'm like, "Huhwha?"

So add in aspects of volleyball, ehh? Meh, I only really like "keep it up" games with balloons.

Hmmm... now if you had a balloon tough enough to withstand all that battin', might be fun!
