Post subject:  Mount Ridesplace USA!
So, due to a stroke of genius I'm going to make this sucker on Roller Coast Tycoon 2, with an idea from Capt. Ok, first of all, some of the rides will be demented, because A] I can't make a Trogdor ride, though things VERY close and B] Strongbadian Riverquest Safariventure will look a little different. Another problem I encountered is that Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 refuses to take screenshots, so I'm using my digital camera for pictures, or I may be able to tamper with the system. And one question, what should the signs for Strongbadia be colored? And second of all, things will be updated over time, because I get upgrades from my scientists in the game making themes, and one of them has mr. tire in it :p So, any ride suggestions? Ideas? Enigmas?

You need to have a food court in the middle of a field, with a sign labling it "The Stick" Or have that be the name for a whoa belly.

Aha! That gave me a great idea! I will make the food court, but in the middle of it will be where cement usually is will be the stick! Ahhh! And lots of chairs n' such. :p What color should the food court be? AND THE SIGN! I'm not good with "Oh, this color matches this!" >_>

Shame you don't have the 3rd RCT...Then you'd be able to ride the rides as well.

I hace RC3, I just like RC2 SO much better. Oh, and as for Bubs' Concessions Stand, hmm, souvenier shop, it doesn't look like it all that great though... Or something that looks like it alot that sells a variety of different things?

Ok, Strongbadian Riverquest, renamed due to the longness. I have some mods for the game, so I will be adding in something that looks like a Cold Ones machine in the food court... Should the design of it be more realistic, as to how Strong Bad made it? Or a complex one. And don't fear, I'm adding Strongbadian themed objects around it.

Oh, and PS: I thought those were pretty close to looking like boxes :p

... Those signs don't handle much text. I would put a digital one there, where you can see it all and it scrolls, but that just doesn't seem in the Homestar theme >_>

Ahh, good ol' RCT... How I used to lobe wasting time in that thing. I used to have a cool park called Linka's Lake... Now all we need is someone to make Dangeresque in The Movies!

You definitely need a gift shop/gift kiosk. Somewhere next to the Safariventure. So everyone can experience the fury!

Darn. I'm an idiot, it won't be Bubs' consessions, but it will be Strong Bad's, I guess. And it will all be overpriced :p

($20.00 is the max the game goes for pricing, $10.00 is the highest for bathrooms :p)

Did somebody say price gouging? Piece of advice, have in the way of food only one stand, and it's salty food, and then have oodles and oodles and oodles of drink stalls, and then only like thre bathrooms, all with 10 dollar use fees.

Ahhh, if I ever made a park in real life like the one's I've cranked out, I would cease to exist, be it by lawsuit, mob action, or some other unthinkable method. If I felt like going back and getting screenshot.. it wouldn't be pretty.

I tried this once. But thats when I sucked at park making. Now though, using 8 cars per trainer and countless custom objects and rides I can make almost anything. I may just re-try my hand at this. If I dont get lazy. Which I will....

Heh, that's good, I guess I'm teh suxxors compared to you... But I hope this thing can still stay alive, since I'm doing it thorough for people, and taking suggestions. And more screen shots, a new entrance, want me to change the colors?

Heh, it's not that I know Futurama well, it's just that I know Homestar better. XD

My way to make money in RCT was to not charge at the gate, but to put fairly high prices on all the rides and food. Worked for me...

Legal'd:

I re did the entrance and I'm starting on a Trogdor ride. Any advice on negative vertical G's? The current hieght of it is... 'Bout 165ft tall at the first drop. I always do it over too much and get -2.34g. Which is dangerous.

no offence, but that has to be the seccond or third to worst attempt to recrate the bowls of trogdor that I've ever seen. I think what your doing is cool, but at least try to make it like the email coaster. I made mine look more like the email on roller coaster tycoon 1

It's not supposed to be the bowls of Trogdor! Uggh, this ride is nothing like that. This is just a ride I made for it... I guess I should make the bowls of Trogdor.

Oh, and PS: I'm in a pissy mood right now, please, please if you're going to put this down wait 'till tommorow X-(

Me, I got no prob wiv' it... custom roller coasters are sooo hard to build. I remember trying to do mine back in the day, and I always got really frustrated and then just went with the prepackages ones. ><

maybe sim themepark would work. BTW I love making the suck you dry parks. i charge like 10 at the gate then make the over salty food 8 bucks for a burger fries and a drink and once i made Mt. Drinks, food and one intense roller coaster place.

98 drink stands (overpriced :bubs: :bubs: ) 8 salt food stands ( :bubs: :bubs: :bubs: ) and a crazy coaster. And to top it all off I had like two bathrooms then when people got in i raised everything 8 bucks a day. you should have seen hpw the ground looked

I'm mean to my guests...I charged 10 bucks to go to the bathroom...And then I made one of those launch roller coasters and they all died because the track was too short...On purpose. And then they closed my park down so I just elevated the land so they couldnt leave.

Wait... your park can be shut down?

Anyway, I like what you're doing, Teh Ch8t. Maybe make a sign that says "More rides than you or your grandmother can handle! *Please don't bring your grandmother." Of course, I only have the original version, so I have no idea if parks can be custom-made. If it is, then that game is going on my list of items to splurge on at summer's end.

Depends on what park your at...Certain parks you go to demand that you have your park rating above 700...But since people kept dieing *cough cough* my park rating was like 400...So then they shut my wonderful park down. :((
