Has anybody ever met somebody through Homestar Runner? It seems like every Homestar fan I've ever met has been a nice person. Has anybody ever noticed that besides me?

Other than a few certain banned users on this forum, yeah, I'd say so. There are total jerks on other boards.

I can't really say that I've met anyone through Homestar, although I've accosted people in the mall who were wearing H*R tee-shirts. I've had a very good friend since middle school, Myles, and I always thought he was the awesomest ever. In tenth grade, we discovered that we both liked Homestar, and it just made perfect sense.

Awesome people love Homestar Runner.

you've never met John Robley. he's this annoying kid who sits next to me in math. he claims he is building a computer from lots of parts. i have found him out.
"so, john. does your computer have a wireless card?"
"not yet, i'm getting one next tuesday."
later in the lesson.
"do you have a wireless modem or networker?"
" of course not. why would i need one of those?"
"oh, just a little reason....."
and when he's not annoying me in class, he's trying to steal my bike. he found the code yesterday, but luckily i've got a good quality lock. one that can change the code. his is a crappy old one with only three digits. tomorrow, i'm letting down his tyres.

Almost all my friends are Homestar fans, and I've had almost no problems at all with them. They even call me Stinkoman!

I don't believe he's a homestar fan. He can't be. You should run some tests on him. ask him trivia. He wont have a clue.

I don't know a lot of people that still go on Homestar, but the people who call it "kiddy crap" are all complete jerks.

Well, most people here aren't. There are the occasional jerks here and there, (Ace) But for the most part, this is fairly jerk-free.

Yeah, If I saw somebody on the street wearing a homestar shirt, I might not try to strike up a conversation, but I could assume that they aren't a jerk. Only one fan I know is a jerk, but they still refer to strong sad as "that gray face guy".

My best friend is a Homestar fan, but he still calls Homsar, "that guy." And he hadn't even seen "dragon." Now how can you be a Homestar fan and not see dragon?

I met Tom briefly while in New York.

And I'm determined to shake Ed's hand.

And I saw somebody with a Strong Bad shirt at Cedar Point a few weeks ago (I was wearing a The Cheat shirt). Can't help but wonder that it was somebody on some forum somewhere. Let me know if you know, you know.

I my ex-girlfriend because I saw that she was drawing Trogdor and started up a conversation with her. Is that weird or what? It just goes to show you that most people who like homestar are amazing people.

How about you're just plain strange?

:p

For me I always seem to run into fans in groups. Like outside of my classes one time there was a group of guys just talking about the newest e-mail at the time when I walked past wearing my Strong Bad ringer shirt. Without even knowing me they came over and talked about how cool I was for having that shirt, and we talked about H*R for another half hour before I realized that I missed my math class.

whoops! oh well, math sucks.

i guess i can't say i've had the luck of ever meeting many people who also like the site IRL. maybe because i live in hickville USA or something. there was one guy i knew though, who first introduced me to the site in 9th grade (ages ago...) and he was really cool and nice. he also did the best Strong Sad impression I have ever heard from anyone besides Matt Chapman.
