I didn't hear about it, I just was shown it without any warning. As soon as I saw it I knew it was THE FUTURE.

Hey sbemail, just so you know, people here don't like people double posting. it's annoying, or it breaks computers, or something. While I'm correcting people, use good grammar and check if there have been threads about a topic before you post them. You'll have fun here, just be very good.

I hope that didn't sound too mean...

I remember I found homestar from a link on a site that I found on neopets, but I don't recall ever knowing what the site was before I visited it. Thinking it was a mortage company makes sence, though, since it is homestar.

... and so goes the story of the only good thing neopets did for me.

Would this count as a toast paint? Mabye a semi-tostpaint... or just toast? (?) :p

Homestar is a bank/mortgage company.

I did think it was some kind of advertisement for some company... like, a car rental company though.

This is totally awesome. Hooray for out of context quoting.

well, i dont know if this is on topic, but when i was first told about it, i was told that hoemstar was a marshmallow. my cousins actually thought he was a marshmallow with legs. i dont know why. i guess i just have a deeper understanding of homestar than they do.

I was showed homestar by my friends and the bumper stickers put on the wall of the Carreer Center school thing that our class visited this year. I knew that if it had those cool bumper stickers that it had to be awesome, cool, and not boring.

Am I the only person that thought it was this sci-fi thing? I mean, Homestar. I didn't really like sci-fi things online (and I still don't, they're all parodies of Wars or Trek) so I avoided it for years. Meh.

I just thought it was a funny name. XD It still is a funny name, when you think about it. XD But it made sense... he had a star on his shirt, and all.

Or maybe they have a deeper understanding of Homestar than the rest of us? :o

If Homestar is a marshmallow... that would make him a cannibal. :O

I think that was my second thought after the baseball thing, XD. I thought the name "Homestar Runner" was supposed to be some weird sci-fi type name like "Luke Skywalker" or something.

Homestar is a bank/mortgage company.

I also remember seeing an ad for Homestar insurance here in Australia too... That was after I discovered H*R though.

Yeah it does kind of sound like a cross between some home security system and energy star, homestar security system!

DEAR GOD, I was the exact. Same. Way.

I avoided it like the plague. All I knew was that the site was called Homestar Runner, there were some guys named Strong Bad, Mad and Sad, and there was a dragon named Trogdor. So I figured it was about the Strongs travelling through space to fight Trogdor.

Eventually I figured out more about it and decided to watch it. LOVE.
