I was working out today when my coach said, "Don't be loafing." This reminded me so much of the e-mail No Loafing and Redesign. XD So, have there ever been things you've heard or looked at that reminded you of H*R?

My teacher was testing a classroom microphone and said, "Sibilence, sibilence" Strong Bad said that in the intro to an e-mail. And once, my teacher said "Gazelle carcass" and it reminded me of TGS (Duh).

I know a group of guys, one is broad, bald and strong, one has reddish hair and likes wrestling moves (that ones my mate) and one is short and has a speech impediment. (a-la :sm: , :sb: and :cheat: )

That always just reminds me of Tom Hanks on SNL.

Whenever I see someone with no arms wearing a red shirt with a white star on it, no pants, and blue soles stuck to the bottom of his feet.Doesn't happen very often, but still.

when i go out on the highway and see the signs that say north, east, south, and such, i think, "obvious exits are north, south, and dennis."

i also have a cousin named dennis so that reminds me of it too.

Hehe...I was watching something in one of my classes yesterday, and it was hosted by Alan Alda. So after I thought of MASH, I thought of Homestar. Why did Alan Alda remind me of Homestar? It's was because of this thread.

There is a trucking company near my town named Home Run Inc. and their trucks are red with white letters. I found out about this on a trip to Kentucky when at a Waffle House, I looked out the window and I saw a truck from that company, not seeing that it was from my home town. I pointed it out to my mom, and she told me it was from back home, and I was in shock. I had never seen one before in my life.

Mountain Dew. Always think of the never-ending soda when it's mentioned.

That's a speech impediment, not an accent.

I used to have Homestar's same exact speech impediment until like, the third grade. So... it's more like H*R reminded me... of myself...

There's a lot. Someone will say something and it reminds me of a line. I usually say it, too. Annoys the heck outta some people I know.

About Homestar's speech impediment though, my cousin's five-year old son has the exact same one. I always kind of marveled at how it's not even very close to being an "r", it's an exact "w". This results in like "wench" for "wrench" and stuff.

I have a friend who currently resides in Canada, who reminds me a lot of Homestar. They sound so similar, it's scary. Also, they both have so-stupid-it's-smart moments, like when my friend (before he went to Canada, so you don't get confused about why we were in the same country) wasn't paying attention in Science, and the smoke bomb he was making (yes, we made smoke bombs in Science) went off. The class had to spend the rest of the lesson outside talking and messing around.

Well, there was this one time I hooked my lawnmower up to my Nintendo. After that... I had a non-working Nintendo.

Seriously, though... I don't think I could play the original Leisure Suit Larry games (which are most definitely not safe for kids) too much without being reminded of Ali and Ali's sister.

Yesterday I went to Lowe's and parked next to a truck that was for some sort of company that mounts game heads, and it had pictures of like deer and stuff on the truck. The motto, "Preserving those awesome memories, one mount at a time," struck me as hilarious.

Dunno, just thought it sounded like something Strong Bad would say and thought I would share.

:sb: <(Preserving those awesome memories, one mount at a time.)

Try reading this Baby-Sitter's Club parody without thinking of Teen Girl Squad. I dare you.

One time, my mom thought the big square-shaped guy was Coach Z.

I'm not joking.
