how do i put a piccture on that spot under ur name??

It's really not all that difficult if you take a minute to read the FAQ. When in doubt... rtfm

It appears the FAQ is crap.

Anyway, go to your User Profile (from the link on the top of every page in the forum), and either link to an image on the web or upload one from your personal computer. Make sure that it complies with the forum rules though

Can I post Images?
Images can indeed be shown in your posts. However, there is no facility at present for uploading images directly to this board. Therefore you must link to an image stored on a publicly accessible web server, e.g. http://www.some-unknown-place.net/my-picture.gif. You cannot link to pictures stored on your own PC (unless it is a publicly accessible server) nor to images stored behind authentication mechanisms such as Hotmail or Yahoo mailboxes, password-protected sites, etc. To display the image use either the BBCode [img] tag or appropriate HTML (if allowed).

Do you know how to upload images?

If not, all you do is save the image to your desktop, go to http://imageshack.us/, upload it, copy the text that has the tags around it, and paste it in your post, or copy the text that has no tags around it to make a link to the image.


As for avatars, save the image to your desktop, go to your profile, scroll to the bottom, press "browse", and find your image, double click on it, press "submit", and you're done.
Oh, and the image must be 100x100 pixels, and no more than 10kb.

sci-fi, you're gonna have to calm down. Please use the edit button instead of posting 2 or 3 posts in a row.

If you want to post an avatar under your name, click profile up at the top of the screen.
That will take you to your profile screen.
Scroll down to the bottom. You'll see "upload avatar from your machine". Click that. Select whatever picture on your machine you want to use (make sure it's no bigger than 100 pixels by 100 pixels (and smaller than 10K).

That should do it.
