I pretty sure it's been answered before, but I'm partially new here so I wouldn't have seen it, So anyway, does it stand for 2016? and 20,006?, because if it's the latter, than a lot of people are being real idiots saying that Stinkoman and 1-Up are Homestar and Strongbad's kids

I seem to remember a thread about this a long time ago, but that might be my imagination.

ANyways, I personaly think that the X is a variable. So, 20X6 could be 2006, 2016, 2026, etc. (Though I suppose you could rule out 2006)

I'd expect near the end of the century or so. 2096 sounds pretty good.

But 20X6 is just a cartoon and likely doesn't exist as a real time(that was a gag), so it's not something to boggle your mind about.

I was planning a fanstuff and wanted a year where Strongbad, Homestar, Stinkoman, and 1-Up all existed at once, so I was wondering how far ahead Stinkoman and 1-Up are, than Homestar and Strong Bad, but I just guessed some random year(2020)

I always thought it meant 20106.

Trying to figure out the true year of 20X6 is like trying to figure when MegaMan exists. When is 200X? It's just some random thing they put in there to parody all the olg Metroid/MegaMan games.

I think that in the future something happened to the earth that made years longer but with shorter days, but they didn't want to screw up the dates, so the years with X in them are the left-over days. Or something.

Just so you know, if you have to do this, PMs are generally used. And I believe it's from an old picture of a lot of Nintendo characters being grouped into one page...

Anyways, Teff's actually makes sense so I'll use that.
