The Yankees are my home team, but I don't root for them.
Techinally, since you don't live in da Bronx, the Mets could also be your Home team. But that's baseball, not football. So let's get back to Footballing.

Youre right, I should seriously give up the Cardinals.

Stop rooting for a sucky team. That should help.

What kind of fan would that make him?
A Saints fan? I can't wait until they (the Saints) get blown out in their next 3 home games. Granted, they're not the Packers, so that's not likely, but oh well..

Packers just lost again. Who cares? You can't turn a 1-3 season around and lose the Super Bowl to the Bengals if you start 4-0..

Hey man, don't give up. You got to stick by your team, through the good and bad times. I mean, I'm a Cowboys fan, and we've had our good years, and we've had our bad. But my loyality is still there. If you just give up on a team because they're doing poorly, you know what that makes you? A Yankee fan. One that only roots for a team when they're winning.

Who knows, maybe they can turn things around, and finish off the year on a good note. And maybe they'll do better next year.

So, who else is excited about Sunday? Cowboys vs Eagles. TO vs McNabb. Oh...it should be grand.

I'm the opposite..
I hate hearing TO's name.. Seriously, who cares anymore?
On the bright side, this'll be the first Philly game this season where the announcers won't look stupid mentioning Terrel Owens every other sentence.

Seriously, it's generally accepted as good practice to mention the players who are actually on the teams playing.
I think they mentioned TO more than Brett Favre, Donovan McNabb, or any other player Monday night.

Eh...I can see what you mean Rad. I guess with all that happened last year, they're trying to hype the crap out it because the Babeball Playoffs are going on as well. Ratings war, lol.

I'm just glad that other people have to put up with hearing about T.O. as well. I've heard plenty about him here in Dallas.

And Ramrod, this "Babeball" playoffs of which you speak sounds like a great idea.

They've heard more about him in Philly, if you can believe that.
Seriously, in every Eagles game this year, TO was mentioned as much as any of the players actually participating in the game, at least that's what I've gotten from a dear friend and Eagles fan.

I don't mean ALL Steelers fans, but around here, anyway, it seemed like the population of Steelers fans quadrupled when they won the Super Bowl...
That, and I'm partially a Bengals fan..

Oh, I see. Yeah, people who cling to teams like that aren't true fans.

The Steelers fans are worse arond here. Alot of them up here seem to just want to bash the Bengals 24/7. Since I life near Cincinnati, there's enough Bengals fans to even out the ratio of Steelers/Bengals fans. I actually used to be a fan of both teams, but then everyone started hating the Bengals and I liked them way before they got better.

As a Seahawks fan, I wholeheartedly agree with these anti-Steelers fan sentiments. :)

Just kidding. Steelers fans are OK by me. Though I'm with StrongRad: I place them in the same boat as Yankees, Red Sox, and Lakers fans.

Whoa whoa whoa, wait a minute now. While there are a few fakes for the BoSox, many of us are pure fans, through and through. We never ditched our team. Look at how loyal we were when the "curse" was still around.

OK, fo seriously, we're getting a bit far off topic. Toastpaint, transform!

I'm going to The Bears-Buffalos game tomorrow. I'm really happy that Chicago's undefeated thus far, but I hope to get some kick-awesome shots for Photography. But class aside, I hope the team can make it 5-0. And that I don't somehow create a curse and Grossman gets injured for the rest of the year, along with all the other good players. And from what I said, you can all easily infer that I have barely any idea about the current football players. ;)

Something to think about: The Bears are 5-0, and you haven't been to any of the games this year. You're going tomorrow. They will lose. It will be your fault. If they DON'T lose tomorrow, then it's not your fault, but you'll have to go to the rest of the games this year, as they will have won every game you've attended.
No pressure there.

Finally, we have a major upset. Arkansas beats #2 Auburn 27-10 in Jordan-Hare.

When I call my friend, Tara, tomorrow, I will razz/console her on Auburn's loss.

Well, my "Hometown team" Syracuse lost today. I am in shock and awe.

Ok, not really. But hey, it's better than last year, when they only won 1 game.

4-0, but they won today. Big time. So, it's now 5-0.

But I was there half the game. Some lady-type natual process happened, so I cramped and had to leave at halftime.

I wonder if the Chargers can pull it off tonight against the Steelers.
They lost to them last year, and the Steelers went on to win it all.

This Dallas/Philly game is pretty good.
Personally, I would have loved to see T.O. come out and fall flat on his face, but I'll take a good game, too. Regardless, TO's welcome in Philly is about as warm as Brian Vickers' ovation at Talladega today.
GO EAGLES!!!

*You know, I think they mentioned Terrell Owens more last week when the Eagles were playing the Packers..
