I got the orange box about 2 weeks ago. Good stuff.

I've finished HL2, HLE1, and I'm on epsode 2 right now. I also finished portal.

My xbox live isnt working, so no fortress yet.

Okay, if you would read what they said, they said they want this game to be a "work in progress". What we have now is not going to be the "final version". Yes, some of the achievements are ridiculous. However, I doubt they will release just the Medic achievements and weapons. I think they will do it for all the classes, then release them all. You're not going to have people just playing as Medic and being stupid to get achievements. They will be there for all classes. And if it were me, I'd set up some inhouse games to get the more tricky ones. Undeniably, there will be people who do stupid stuff to get achivements, but I think it will be lessened by the fact that there will be 324 new achievements across the board. And as for new characters? Wait until they actually release them. Then we can all complain if it is warrented.

Yeah, my friend started up his server like a few seconds after it updated. He was the only unpassworded server for a while.

After the game started litterally 20 people joined at the exact same time, it was crazy. Guess what class all of them played as.

Oh yeah, and there was one German guy who kept talking as if we could understand him. My friend said "Uh, could one of you Medics translate for us?"

I decided to reinstall Steam now that my laptop is back in my possession, and while I don't have Garry's Mod 9 from my old computer, it appears that somebody gifted me Team Fortress 2. Was it somebody on here?

EDIT: Oh, Wikipedia says that it may just be a weekend promotion that Steam sometimes does for games. I'll apparently lose it in 1.2 days. Ah well.
