I was under the impression they'd equally enforce the rule across the board.

I was sadly mistaken, as users spammed Ramrod in direct response to him telling them not to, and he did nothing.

So I decided that spamming is fine, as no one get punished for it.

I underestimated ramrod.

First off, spam is not a post lacking substance. What they said to ramrod was not "Tazer this gnome" or "Buy my product" or "lolololo :sad:

Second, I wouldn't call it spamming as much as it would be trolling.

Third, what you are doing is Trolling ramrod right now just to get a rise out of him. Since you are doing this, you are clearly not the bigger man in the fact that you are not taking it like a man and fulfilling your punishment and coming back a betetr user because of it, you've taken the low road and decided to insult ramrod and everyone under his regime. You have disrespected all of us, and yourself.

Agreed. Spam can often be confused with trolling. You're not spamming, because you're not posting random crap all the time. You're trolling because you're insulting people, trying to get them angry so you can possibly get some attention. It's only working because half of us are idiots (no offense guys) who don't know to stop feeding the trolls.
