Also, the only things that matter to me are tempo, tone, clean sound, variation, and high or low enough notes. In those terms, it sounds fine.

Bugkiss is right. You should really try to write your basslines in a certain key or base them on a certain scale.

EDIT:
If it's a song for your band, you could just play the root notes of the guitar chords and go from there.

I agree with both of those things. Try building off of your guitarist's riffs, and try to play with keys/scales/circle of fifths.

OK, I'm not basing it on any type of scale, it's mostly based on tone, tempo and key. Plus the way I have my bass tuned sort of allows for it.

So it follows the tempo and key of the guitar chords, but doesn't match it exactly.

It sounds like standard tuning to me. I tune by ear.

Also, you should probably note that I wrote the whole tab horribly wrong. It's actually:

G|5-5----------
D|---4--4-------
A|-------5-5-4-4/5
E|-------------

Which barely sounds any different at all.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR TO READ A TABS
Step one: Somehow get guitar. If guitar you do not have you can go purchase one or screw it and watch terevision.
Step to: Get TABS. TABS is provided for you upwards of the page.
Step three. Make sure your guitar is tune or TABS will sound unhappy.
Step for. Examine TABS. Letters at side mean for the notes of the six strings openly. Nunbers are for the amount of frets upwards of the not.
Step five. squeeze finger downwards upon fret of nunber indinctated. Pluck string or use a pick it is up to you.
Step six. Repeat stap five with all the numbers on the TABS. You should hear a music. If you hear a not music you are doing it wrong. If you hear nothing your gitar has no strings.
Step seven. Fortunately you have made a music!
