I remember when the awesome thing about the new computer was that it had speakers.

Nah, these times are pretty awful.

Remember Freakazoid? And Dexter's Lab? And the commercial with the skeleton fighting the snake over the Tootsie-Pop?

I barely remember watching my brother and sister play Descent together on a Windows 95 or something. And connecting using dial-up. We had to make sure nobody was on the phone every time we wanted onto the internets.

I remember back in like 1995 when I'd get home from school and me and my dad would play Myst for a while. Man, Myst was cool.

Still is cool.

I remember when people used to play outside. I remember when marble collecting was the awesomest thing. I was one of the only girls in my school interested in the game.

Then Pokémon came to town. >:(

All That was amazing. Then it sucked.

Did you know Gabriel Iglesias (the hot and fluffy guy) was on it? I didn't.

I remember, when I was young, the kids shows were educational. Every day I would watch Bill Nye and the Magic School Bus. Now THOSE were kid shows, I learned stuff from those shows that I didn't use until middle school!

I love this man with a passion. Mr. Rogers went to the freaking senate to demand that funding for children's television wouldn't be cut off.

Oh yeah, I remember watching my brother play those games. He always got stuck and had all his friends over to figure it out.

The Magic School Bus = HECK YES. Bill Nye was too, but I didn't really watch it that much. But I watched the crap out of the Magic School Bus.

Is it just me, or...

I knew I should have stayed home today.

I remember watching the first episode of Magic School Bus when it came out.

It was the solar system one, where Arnold was an idiot and took his helmet off on Pluto. It was a bit of a confusing episode, because they referenced like every other episode that played later in that week, but hadn't been broadcasted yet, so I was just like (?) the whole time.

...

BILL NYE THE SCI-ENCE GUY. (BILL! BILL! BILL! BILL!)

The 90s. A lot of things were corny, and video games were simpler, albeit much rougher around the edges. Products during this time were great, as they tried to incorporate computers and other "modern technology" with simpler devices. Plus, the commercials were godly.

That is where most of my nostalgia branches to.

You sing it! :-D Man, I could go on forever about the greatness of it.

TV

Best animated show: The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest

Best Live Action: Are You Afraid of the Dark?- Loved the episode with the sponge and the reptile monster queen!

Best Game Show: Legends of the Hidden Temple, hands down. I...erm...had a crush on Olmec when I was, like, seven.

Music

Real McCoy:Another Night
Anything by Daniel Bedingfield
The Spice Girls
Backstreet Boys-My best friend and I always argued about whether they or N'SYNC were better.

Other Trends
slap bracelets
Furbys
bindis
smiley face t-shirts- I had one!

It was more like, "Who can slap theirselves the most without crying?"

Yeah...we were twisted little kids.

This is still my favorite TV theme song.

The show wasn't even that great (it was pretty good but not amazing) but I love the song.
