No... I just hate Jeff Gordon and everything about him... except Junior of course. I also have a can of Jeff Gordon Energy Drink in my fridge. I'm scared to drink it.

If you drink it, you'll be a has been racer with a couple more wins left in you. You will have been relegated to "testing" ideas Jimmy Johnson's crewmembers come up with.

Now I'm confused. Is that poll on the top of the page out-of-date?
Is lahi currently banned or not? If not, then what's the point of that
poll? And, slap me with a lurkmoar if this post is an epic failure, but
if lahi did this mature apology, what got him banned?

He was banned originally for 20+ versions of this thread.

He was brought back a few days ago, but the admins are having some disagreements over whether or not to keep him unbanned because of what he did in the past. The poll is for the users to decide whether or not to keep him banned, though from the data so far, it appears that he'll probably stay unbanned, as long as he behaves.

I'm guessing the reason was either they didn't want anyone influencing people's opinions one way or the other or that they assumed the topic would erupt into a drama-fest.

They didn't want to cause drama over it, and they didn't want users' votes to sway each others' so everyone had to keep it private and not try to campaign one way or the other. I'd say it went pretty well; there wasn't much drama over it here.
