I'd have to say Mario Pinball Land.
Just check out this review I made for it months ago:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Intro: If you didn't already know, Mario: PInball Land is a so-called "pinball-adventure". In other words, it isn't just a pinball game, it's actually a full-fledged Mario adventure with pinball game-play, with bosses and 5 different worlds and more.
Gameplay: 4/10
The intro made it sound good, didn't it? Sorry, but in this reviewers opinion, this game is not worth the buy. It sucks, simply put. Hm...pinball-adventure, eh? Let's see here...in an adventure game, your supposed to freely go where you need to go and just so what you need to do there and come back, right? Now, in a pinball game, you hit the ball, not knowing exactly where it's going to go or what's going to happen, and that ball ends up in the same place a lot, doesn't it? Plus, there's a gutter, so you can risk the ball falling down the drain. Mix the together, and what do you get? Utter crap, that's what. Your character, Mario rolled into a ball (or is the unexplained in the game flippers?), goes everywhere, and it's hard to know where he's gonna go. Plus, there's the drain, and plus, your going to likely end up revisiting places you aren't even trying to go to, and it's very annoying. So yeah, ignore the big reviewers and listen to reality.
Controls: -999/10
The biggest problem of the game......the crappy controls. Sure, L and R sound like the best control system for the GBA, but the truth is that they still suck like crap. As stated above, you have no clue where Mario is going to go or what's going to happen. They are very annoying when you have to perform a string of high-precision shots, just like NOA_CHRIS said in NP.
Graphics: 9/10
Ah, here's something I can definetly compliment about on this game. You've likely seen screen shots and videos online or on TV...the graphics are incredible for GBA. The camera angle might get a bit annoying with the isometric view, but it's likely because of the height of the GBA screen. This is the strongest aspect of the game.
Sound/Music: 8/10
Another good thing about this game. The sounds do get a bit annoying after a while, such as hearing Mario getting inside the cannon and the horrible disgusting noise the game makes when you pause. However, the music is great, especially the tune inside the pyramid when you hit certain switches (the part when the snare drums come in). Of course, the sloppy controls can it make it take a while befor it does get to that part. Boss battle tunes are catchy and somewhat tense.
Are-the-problems-easy-to-overcome factor: No/10
This game has way too many problems, and not just any problems, BIG problems. Controls suck, gameplay idea is stupid, some of the sounds suck, and more. When you pause, not only is there the "bleh" sound, but you only have two options: "Continue" or "Save & Quit" No "Save and Continue". And even if you get really frustrated, turning the game off without saving and quiting will make you start all over from the very beginning, which is extremely annoying. Yes, there are mini-games, but there are only 3, and you have to have blue coins to play them. It's very hard to overcome these problems.
Game length: 5/10
There are 5 worlds (each with a boss), which may seem like plenty, but it really isn't. You'll likely be spending huge bulks of your game time collecting stars. And no, in this game, that's not that fun. Of course, the "power button+game that is on-saving=beginning" thing adds a bit of length....and frustration.
Is-it-innovative factor: No, you've been lied to/10
No, it's not. Nintendo made all those great reviews and stuff, but it just isn't true.
Pros:
Graphics are nice
Music is great
Cons:
More than we can bear
