I once attempted a 3D Sudoku. You had to do nine Sudokus, but the numbers one through nine could only appear once in each slot. That, my friend, was evil.

Woah, how was that laid out. I'd like to see that.

Here is what is known in my book as "harder than diabolical" extreme sudoko. Behold it's scanned glory and tremble. I dare anyone to solve it, just don't tell me the answers, I still want to do it myself...

Looks fun, but I still need to finish the fish puzzle on my own time.

What in the name of snakes on a plane is that??? I thought a 16x16 sudoku puzzle was near impossible.

It's an "extreme" sudoku. Instead of a 9x9 square, it's a 9x9x9 cube, where you have to make sure that not only each horizontal layer works out, but also every vertical layer as well. What I'd like to know is the sick freak who came up with this.

The other day I came across Samurai Sudoku, which is sort of in the same vein as the above. Rather than a cube, though, it's five overlapping Sudoku boards. Not quite so tough.

Does anybody go to http://www.websudoku.com? If so, if you want, maybe you can post your best/average times?

I just play it on easy, because I'm usually doing it to pass time, rather than really challenge myself. But my best time is now 2:44 and my average time is 6:11.
