February 18th. That's two days after the Georgetown game, so I don't know what kind of shape that SU will be in when they go to Freedom Hall.

Doesn't matter. If they're playing Louisville, I love them.

I'd ALMOST cheer for Duke over Louisville.

Actually, I'd take UL over Puke anyday. At least Louisville doesn't get completely praised by the media then completely collapses in the tournament.

That's Kentucky, not Duke.

*grabs BTG and slaps him until his face turns purple*

Ummmmm...no. We aren't in the ACC, so we get no love. And we haven't choked since MSU. UConn and Kansas were supposed to beat us.

Exactly. That was before MSU. And that game was so horribly officiated, the words that I would use would surely get me banned, so I'll let you win this one.

If Keith Bogans wasn't injured for that game, Wade would've never had a triple double and we wouldn't be talking about how great he is in the league right now.

This was completely unexpected. At least for me. I thought that if he was going to retire, he'd at least finish out the season.

UK wins again!! 2 straight on the road without our starting point guard!! But boy was it ugly. 24 turnovers. Oh well, a win is a win and at this point, I'll take it.

I'm still not sure what to think of that trade. I'm not sure if the Diesel will be able to run with Nash and co.

Well I think they will do both. They will slow it down when Shaq is on the floor and speed it up when he is resting.

This just in!! Rick Pitino said the best team he's ever seen was...the 1996 Kentucky Wildcats. And he's not wrong. They are the number 1 team in the Sagarin ratings all time. The Louisville crowd loved hearing that.

I'll take the 1992 Duke Blue Devils thank you very much. Or the 1966 Texas Western Miners. :p

I despise that 1996 Wildcats squad.

Anyone but the Blue Devils.

Don't be mad because Tony Delk went off against your little Orangemen. :p

1. 1996 UK
2. 1976 IU
3. 1991 UNLV
4. 1975 IU
5. 1993 UNC

Those are the top 5 all time teams in the Sagarin ratings. Of course, we know UNLV didn't win the title that year. And neither did 1975 IU.

Gravey, you're going to hate me for this, but I got tickets to the SU Georgetown game the 16th for only $10.

Well, the Warriors revived themselves tonight by beating the Kings. They clawed, tooth and nail, back into 8th in the Western Conference. All thanks to Ellis's 40 points, have of which were assisted by Stephen Jackson.

It was ugly, though. Baron fouled out.

No UCLA teams? I do believe that they went undefeated for 3 1/2 seasons. the 1971, 1972 and 1973 Bruins should be on that list.

It's all subjective. There's always going to be flaws. Big or small.

The Sagarin ratings first came out in the 80's, but I don't know what that has to do with it if the 2 IU teams were ranked. I guess they were ranked afterwards. I don't make it up, I just go by what I see.

A pair of very controversial finishes last night in both men's and women's college basketball. Georgetown guard Jonathan Wallace was "fouled" by Cory Stokes of Villanova with 0.1 seconds on the clock. That was a horrible call because there was little contact and it basically decided the game. In women's basketball in a rematch of last year's championship game, a UT player was fouled with 0.2 seconds on the clock...but the buzzer should've gone off before that foul was called. The clock had stopped on 0.2 seconds and the buzzer didn't go off until after the foul was called. A very controversial night in collegiate basketball.

The Jazz are #1 in Sports Illustrated's Power Rankings.

Woot.

StrongRad... ouch.

What is this, bizarro sports year? Kentucky is great at football and horrible at basketball?
