Um, let's see... Living way up here in the Great White North, I haven't had many opportunities to meet famous people. But when I was 9 or 10, Prince Charles and Diana came to my city and she touched my hand. And once in Toronto I saw Cary Elwes on the street. My mom met Gene Hackman a bunch of years ago. I met the guys from Alkaline Trio and George Stroumboulopoulos and Warped Tour a few years ago. And when I was about 17, I went to a presentation by Stephen Hawking for the opening of the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory.

I met Kevin Sorbo TODAY! He came to a classroom and talked to like me and about 35 other *lucky* people about acting and college and other random stuff. We just got to ask him questions. I get a free autograph out of the deal (to be mailed, of course... a high quality photo  ) and then I asked him if he preferred laser guns to swords and he said laser guns because at his age he only has to point and shoot them. We talked to him for almost an hour and a half and listened to his stories and stuff. He is the nicest person, really. I would have thought him to be stuck up or something, but he is totally not. And he had really good advice.

My mom met Bono once. Back when she worked on Borders on Michigan Avenue, he came in to buy a paper. He was there, all in his leather and make-up, and my mom had absolutely no idea who he was. Afterwards, somebody else had to pull her into the back, show her a picture of U2, and ask her, "was this him?" It's a nice story I like to tell. And I swear it's true.

She's also met people like Jerry Springer (who is nice) and Oprah (who is not so nice.). I, on the other hand, have met no famous people.

That will change when I am Big and Famous.

Hmm....my Mom once talked to the wife of Kevin(Backstreet Boys) on the phone, and that counts?

My freinds cousin once got my friend an autograph of Rudy from some Survivor...

My brother got a Pro NFL football when he was reall young. He also got an autographed napkin from a Bills Player. We dont know who sent the football.

My friend once wrote to Bush BEFORE he turned all stupid, and got a letter back with an autograph of Dubya and Barbra.

Me however.....I dont think so.

OH YEAH!!!! My brother also got an autograped Bills helmet with Benney's auto.

Speaking of Robin Williams, my psychiatrist told me a story worth repeating. One of my Psychiatrists friends enrolled her daughter in a writer's school in Michigan. She was there for parents weekend, and apprently Robin Williams was there with his daughter. My Psych's friend sat down to eat lunch and she took a bite out of her sandwich, looked up and saw...Robin Williams. She spit out what she had eaten, and Robin said, "I bet that tasted good."

Hey you guys, I know no one will probly believe me, but I seriously think I found one of TBC's computers on Limewire just now.

It had some unfinished toon on there, and basically everything that has ever been on the site, in addition to some kinda photoshopped really old homestar stuff. I feel like I found the lost city of Atlantis or something. Either that or I just got myself thrown in jail for like, downloading crap from them... I swear, I didn't think it was their puter when I started downloading! I thought it was some manically obsessed fan or something. Till I actually looked at what I downloaded...

Oh, great. Now men wearing black suits and ear phones will be showing up at your house, calling you Mr. Anderson. Better take that Red Pill and quick! Either that, or just fork over the $5.

I myself have met Brett Kimmorley, Captain of the Cronulla Sharks NRL team. I saw him at a bowling alley, and I was like,

"I'm not sure it's him." BUT IT WAS HIM!

I just met Patrick Duncan the other day. If you don't know who he is, he is a famouse screenwriter who wrote "Mr Holland's Opus", Courage Under Fire", and "Nick of Time." I met him at a screenwriting seminar and he shared his writing process. It was awesome!

I met Bob Sagot. Ha ha ha. Still makes me laugh....

I was in grade 4, on a family trip to Disney World. They were filming that one episode of Full House, where they went to Disney. Yep, I went on the ride with them. I thought it was cool at the time, because Fully House was the best.

so were you like in the episode in the backround?
or is it one of those deals that they know you would be looking for yourself so they do all they can to almost show you, but still keep you from being excited?

I've met:

Mr. butt (a wrestler with TNA)
Jay from Rascal Flatts
Jaci Velasquez (Christian/Latin singer)
Some actors from Port Charles (a soap opera that got cancelled)

Edit: Er, uh, that wrestler's name was obviously censored...but for what it's worth, that's not his name anymore anyway. He now goes by Kip James in TNA. lol

The shot, as I can remember, was so far away it could have been anyone in the damn ride.

Ah good ol' Bob. My friends down the hall have a strange obsession with him.

I didn't meet him personally, but my friend works for Richard Simmons. Don't ask why, she doesn't like to exercise or anything.

The people you work for as an intern...

Gary Brolsma (aka The Numa Numa guy) lives just a few towns away from me, and he's a close friend of my friend's family.

I feel somewhat special.
