You had the skunk trial. And had a close up pic in the yearbook with that hair. Now that's funny.

i dont mind going to the hairdressers, it's just when they try to make small talk, and i make a fool of my self by saying something wierd. then there's a really arquard silence.
e.g:

hello
hello
*snip snip snip*
so, how was your easter?
oh, it was fine, i had an easter egg for breakfast today.<<< thats what i mean. i'm just tooo odd for this planet.

*silence*
.................so, did you go anywhere interesting?
well-..... no. did you?
nah-
oh.

I don't like to talk much when I get my hair cut. I hate small talk.

My cousin, who talks a lot, does my hair. So when I go there for something simple, like gelling it up for a date or whatever, I'm there for an hour talking and listening....yarr.....

I hate when they try to style my hair after they've cut it. Now, usually what I'll do is shower then go straight to the hairdresser's so my hair doesn't have all the crap in it that it usually does. (I go to cheap places since my style is easy to do and hard to screw up, so I don't want to pay extra to have it washed. I am poor.) So they cut my hair, using a razor and those weird scissors for thinning (girls? Know what I mean?) leaving all these little bits of hair all over the place that need to be rinsed out or they'll itch all day. So what I want to do is just pay and come back home so I can shower again (and usually dye my hair). But they insist on drying it and putting product in it and styling it all stupid. They don't understand that all you need is some wax and your fingers. When I tell them not to style it, they think I'm weird.

I rarely ever style my hair. I only do it for special occasions. The last time i styled my hair was for my Senior Ball.

The girl who did my hair, she used to work where I work as a 2nd job. Nice girl and everything, but dunno, never really got along like a house on fire, so found it hard to make obligatory salon small talk.
Couldn't really have a whinge about work because she still frequents there and is good friends wih managers.

So I left feeling bad that I didn't talk to her more and that she thinks I'm a snob

New Pet Peeve!

Running a mile. Unlike Strong Bad, I can barely run a mile, much less do cartwheels for one, but at our school, we are required to run a mile every year. I don't have a whole lot of stamina. It took me awhile. (12.03) But now I'm all sore and feeling weird. I hate it.

I'm never able to run far at all. I can barely run 2 laps around a soccer(football for you non-americans) field.

We have to run a mile and a half for out Physical Fitness tests.

We don't have a certain time we have to meet, we get points for our time, and that score is added up with scores you get from doing pushups, situps, and waist measurement.

These points are added up and must be above 75. Or else life gets difficult.

The fastest I ever ran a mile was 9 min and 59 sec. The part of the physical fitness test that I shined in was sit-ups, I used to beable to do 60 in one minute.

I ran the mile in 6 minutes flat. Then I did 500 situps with a boulder on my back, while lifting 50 pounds with my teeth. And then all the hot ladies came and where all like, "Awesome! You must be a pirate or something! And your mustache is soooo hot!" Speaking of which, I left the oven on.

Ugh. Here's another movie related one that actually happened to me.

I was seeing some movie...AVP, I think.

Anywho, there was this lady right behind me and her cell started ringing.

Did she say "I'm in a movie, I'll call you back"?

No. She had a conversation for a good 10 minutes.

Was I mad?

You bet your sweet bippy.

Gah, did they even show that one now-deemed-useful "Please turn off your cell phone" thing.

I can run one in 6 minutes. I was a long distance runner. I liked running.

But I hate having to take pop quizes. They do suck.

Currently peeved with:
This old lady whos taking law with me. She must be at least 60, so when she finishes her 4 year degree and does her articles, she won't even be able to use her degree for a good amount of time. But that's not the point here.

Apparently she used to lecture in another area (I think engineering) and she tries to tell our lectures what to do. She has a British accent, so I guess it makes her sound more up-front than she's trying to be.

Eg, in one of our classes, the lecturer hasn't set reading. She said there are numerous good text books and it's our choice as to which one we want to read. Old Lady pipes up before the start of a class "Excuse me, you haven't set any reading. How do we know what we are supposed to be reading?"
Lecturer - I've said I'm not setting any reading. You're all adults, it's up to you to follow the course and decide what you need to read (which is quite right)

In answering tutorial questions, she never lets the lecturers finish explaining their correct answer before she shoots her mouth off
Eg. "But isn't that an offer to the world?"
"No, because the letter was only sent to a certain class of people, I was just getting to that part..."

Just thinking about her makes me want to AARRRGGGBLBLBL

 Whoa. Talk about discipline. What's considered an optimal waist size? That's crazy. I'd get kicked out of the Air Force in a week.

I hate people that try to tell old, crappy late night tv jokes. It's bad enough I have to hear them by Leno, but I don't need you retelling them...crappily.
