Don't worry, we'll definitely be doing it again sometime.

Of course, we all need to decide on a good date, and see if we can make a "chat party" of sorts every week or so. That's not to say that we couldn't chat in-between the parties, though.

And why don't we have the same right to the #hrwiki channel anymore? Last time I checked we were still a part of this network. Not to mention, if you read the first few pages here, we were the ones who originally made it relevant.

Well Ace, I hate to say it, and I hate to agree with it, but times have most definitely changed for the Wiki. I should have seen it coming when I just popped my head in around a year ago to see two people doing some type of role-playing of sorts. Nowadays, it appears to mostly be for getting to know each other in a form of "civilized" manner.

With that said, we're allowed on the channel, but we have to not really go chat-party-fun crazy there without people giving us the cold shoulder (then again, most of the Wiki folks in there did block us).

There is one thing that I'd like to see done though, and that is to establish the #hrwiki-forum chat room as a permanent part of the chat.hrwiki.org page. It'd make it readily available to us, and it would prevent users from accidentally partying in the #hrwiki room.

In conclusion, that Mu guy was my hero in the chat last night. Never before have I been told that a lone man owns the chat rooms, and never before have I seen somebody so hostile towards us even when we explained our cases.

EDIT: Oh, and I tried out ChatZilla. I think that I like the Java Applet version of the chat better (it seems a bit cleaner and more detailed), even if it doesn't allow for copy+pasting more than one line of text.

I missed it. And I can't get in. I get on and it tells me there's an error and then I try to go to the forum chat and it says "NOT CONNECTED" over and over again.

It's not really their channel to welcome us to. We have just as much of a right to use it as they do. We can't kick them out, of course, but they can't do the same to us.

That being said, a second channel solely for us would probably be a good alternative for everyone. That way each party can do as they wish. But I just wanted to make that first point clear - all of the hrwiki branches are, for the most part, equal in our relations, at least that's how it should be. As long as we're under the same name and database, no branch should, except in a few exceptions, be able to force something onto another.

Of course, it still needs to be added to the chat.hrwiki page, and ramrod still needs to be given Op abilities there, but it's a start.
