Not a clue, man. Not a clue.

FIRE TED KENNEDY BILLY G!!!!

Bring in Pat Summitt. We could use the kind of break they got last night. She doesn't need that kind of luck. She's that good.

Yes, I agree. Fire Billy G. I mean he's only beaten two ranked teams this year, something Tubby didn't do in his last two years here. Yeah it's a 41 point loss, but it's one game. You'd be crazy if you think Tubby could've coached this team to 12 wins so far. This Saturday we face the worst team in the conference in LSU, so we can get our confidence back with a win. If you know anything about the recruits he's bringing in in the next few years, you know we'll be back. Get off his back.

Then call me crazy, because I think Tubby would have. I mean last year he got you to the second round of the tournament in which he nearly upset Kansas.

Kentucky kept it interesting at best. We didn't almost upset Kansas.

I think Tubby would be doing a lot better right now.

He wouldn't have lost to the Grandfathers of the Pearl Harbor Survivors of Midway Kentucky.

One of my coworkers said they cut into the Kentucky game with the Minnesota game.
Considering Tubby took over a scandal and sanction-ridden team and has turned it into what he has, I think he's doing pretty well.

At worst, he would have at least tried a zone defense last night.

And let Vandy hit a bunch of open threes? Vandy does not miss from the 3 at Memorial gymnasium.

What I'm trying to say is I'm not a Tubby fan, I'm a UK fan and I cheer for whoever we have at the helm right now. I don't believe in bashing our players or coaches and I never will. I bleed blue until the day I die.

Speaking of scandal ridden teams, the Indiana Hoosiers head coach Kelvin Sampson is in recruiting trouble yet again.

I was there. I was literally so high up in the dome, I could touch the roof. Fans stormed the court with 2 seconds left on the clock.

Kentucky football fans do that sometimes.
It doesn't always work out so well.

I remember that!! Oh well, I'm more of a UK basketball fan than football.

And UK beat LSU Saturday with Shaq Daddy in the audience. We now have a home stand with Georgia being the first game. The fans will be sure to give a nice warm welcome to Dave Bliss. ;)

Ah, Dennis Felton... I shall call him "the coach that got away".
Perhaps Kentucky can lure him out of Georgia, although I doubt it.
Also, if he were to leave Georgia, Western Kentucky would lose the ability to schedule the Bulldogs.

That was pretty cool. They were showing highlights from the dunk contest when I was at the gym. It was cool to see. It's almost like they brought the awesome back to the contest. It was like I remember seeing it when I was 10.

Dwight Howard is renewing my interest in the NBA. I haven't followed the NBA much since Shawn Kemp left Seattle.

I realize that. I think it's called the NBA. Tracy McGrady did the same thing. Committed to UK but thought he was better off by going to the NBA and they've both had successful careers.

3 team, 11 player monster trade in the NBA sends Ben Wallace and Wally Sczcerbiak (sp?) to the Cavaliers.

Can't say I didn't see this coming. Bob Knight will join ESPN as an analyst.

Sean Sutton planting that stolen gold chain in Kemp's stuff didn't help Kentucky's chances much, either.

Don't ANYONE say ANYTHING about Patrick Patterson being out for the season. I'm not in the mood.

BTG supports Bob Knight.

Can't say I didn't see it coming. Knight wrote the book on being verbally abusive to people much younger than he is.

BTG's hero, apparently.

GRAH!!! That's not good. SU's only hope of going to the Big Dance lies in the Big East Tournament and they don't have the legs to play four or five games in a row. You try and make that kind of run with only 7 players

Yeah. That's, umm, ouch.
Oh well. It's a perfect cap on to this perfect season.
I'm just glad we got rid of Tubby. I was tired of him losing by 50 to Vanderbilt.

Just like the departure of Ernie Fletcher, the departure of Tubby Smith made everything in the state perfect. (do I even need to put a [/sarcasm] here?)

Look out, Duke. Here we come. We're going to put up 17 on you in the first half!!

Me too. I can't stand Gottlieb. He said something today about the fact that Miami (an ACC school) will get in even though they have a losing record in their conference and said UK was out (the point he made was that the committee looks at the last 10 games more than the first 10 games). UK first 10 games: 5-5 (with a loss to GW). Last 10 games: 9-1 (with the major hiccup at Vanderbilt). Gottlieb even called himself a hypocrite.

I hate the ACC bias that not only exists in ESPN, but has infiltrated to the selection for the McDonald's All American game. if you commit to Duke or UNC, you're guaranteed a spot.

Gottleib also has a major Anti-Syracuse bias. It started in 2003 when Syracuse defeated his beloved Jayhawks and got worse when he tried to rail on Jim Boeheim in 2005 because the Orange didn't leave the state of New York during their non-conference schedule. Boeheim ripped him a fresh one live on ESPN. Last year it really made he really made it known. During the week leading up to Selection Sunday, he had the Orange in the tournament(this after saying all year that SU would not go) and the minute that SU got snubbed, he hops back over to saying that Syracuse didn't deserve to go. This was in spite of Digger, Jay, Hubert and Dickie V saying that they should have gone.
