I'm no charger fan, but I HATE the Titans. It seems like, if the Titans are on, the other NFL stations show a movie, or, like yesterday, a rodeo.

Yeah, I hate the Titans too.
I hate whoever the Chargers happen to be playing.

I would have to say next weeks must see game is Giants/Seahawks. They put on a barn burner last year, and I hope to see the same this year.

haha by the way they are playing right now it doesn't look so.
But i thought the Panthers were gonna do really good this year appears not, but i guess the reason you picked them is because you posted this before the season i've only got one other thing to say...

The two teams I really hate are the Raiders and the Steelers (you know it, Homeschool). They (and a lot of their fans) both have this cocky attitude. Of course, I don't have to worry much about the Raiders nowadays... ;)

Can you blame them? They are two of the most dominant franchises in NFL history. If my team had such a rich history....what a minute, my team does have a rich history.

What about the Eagles? They threw snowballs at Santa Claus! ;)

Apparently, in his senility, he forgot.

Don't give me that crap about "it was the Lions". It DOESN'T MATTER.
I never thought I'd see the day when I would feel bad about starting Payton Manning over Brett Favre on my fantasy football team.

Oh, and I forgot: 400 TDs!

Broncos 17, Patriots 7. Yeeah boyeee. This was the first touchdown that Denver has allowed since the season began.

The Giants lost 42-30. They made a really impressive comeback, they just didn't have the luck they did last week.

They have got to stop with these Mack Truck games.

Now is a crappy crappy time to be a fan of the Utah State Aggies. We're 0-4, haven't scored an offensive touchdown YET, and have lost those games by a combined 144-7.

Hurry up basketball season.

That little comeback they had killed my fantasy team I have in the league with some of my WKU buddies. I had Seattle's defense, and up until New York did that little comeback, that D was scoring me some serious points. BOOO!

Yeah, your Aggies may be the worst Div I-A team out there, racerx. I don't know if the game plan of blizting the safeties on every play paid off in the end. I actually felt bad for you guys after that FG snap flew over the holder's head. :(

And Notre Dame sure dodged a bullet against Michigan St. on Saturday. No way are they in the hunt for the national title anymore, despite what Lee Corso and his senility say.

BYU vs. TCU Thursday. Big game. Winner has a big advantage in the MWC title picture.

What kind of world is it where the Bears and the Saints are 3-0, and Tampa Bay is 0-3?!? Oh, wait, it's not 5 years ago. LOL

Wahoo! BYU beat TCU (ranked #17) last night 31-17! First win over a ranked team on the road for BYU since 1997. Look out MWC... BYU's winning this thing.

Bahhhhhh.

I figured we weren't going to beat the Broncos, but that was pretty bad. Come on guys, get something going on offense.

I'm still trying to figure out how I'm 0-3 and in last place in my "Money" fantasy football league and have scored the most points in the league.
Hooray for Monday night this week. Yes, Go ahead, tell me the Packers have no chance. Tell me they're gonna get creamed. It's ok. 50-0, I'll still wave the green and gold.

I am following the Purdue/ND game and here is the opening scoring drive for the Irish.

1st-10, UND30 D. Walker rushed to the left for 8 yard gain
2nd-2, UND38 B. Quinn passed to D. Walker to the left for 13 yard gain. PURD committed 15 yard penalty
1st-10, PURD34 D. Walker rushed to the left for 5 yard gain
2nd-5, PURD29 D. Walker rushed to the left for 2 yard gain
3rd-3, PURD27 D. Walker rushed to the left for 13 yard gain
1st-10, PURD14 D. Walker rushed to the left for 3 yard gain
2nd-7, PURD11 G. West rushed to the left for 11 yard touchdown. C. Gioia made PAT

Is it just me or is Darius Walker not of any real importance in the Notre Dame offense?

Now we're going to see if the NFL and/or the Tennessee Titans will make a move to make sure the league doesn't become the NBA (full of thugs)...

Albert Haynesworth should never be allowed to even think about football anymore.

For those who don't know, Haynesworth knocked the helmet off of a Dallas player during a play (nothing bad there, helmets come off every now and then). What he did next was kinda sick. He stomped on the Cowboy player's head. 30 or so stitches later, the Cowboy was ok, save some blurry vision.

Jeff Fisher said that if the NFL doesn't hand out the proper punishement, he will. Lord knows what that will be.

Oh the NFL's goingto hand out the punishment alright. They don't need that kind of thing happening. I wouldn't be surprised if he was suspended for the year. At least, that's what I'm hoping for,

For what it's worth, when I was coming through Nashville today, I saw a sign hanging from an overpass that said "Goodbye Albert! Adios and don't come back!"

I snickered..

As for a punishment, I really think suspension for the rest of the season should be the bare minimum here. Granted, he DID apologize because he said he was caught up in the moment, but that's no excuse. I would send him to rot in NFL Europe (because he apologized, otherwise, I would say he shouldn't be allowed to even look at a football field on TV, EVER).

Well, according to ESPN, he's only getting a 5 game suspension. And I'm not the only one to say that it's not enough. According to that poll, 53% of the people believe that the punishment is to lenient.

5 games is a joke... 1/3 of his salary, while serious, still leaves him $1 million or so.

Needless to say, he's now a "marked man". You see that kind of thing in NASCAR all the time. If/when someone gets in trouble, you try your best to start something with them, knowing that they're going to come out worse than you in the altercation. Of course, there's a difference there. In NASCAR, you see the same guys every week, so "him getting it worse than you" has more effect.

That worked on everyone but Dale Earnhardt Sr. If someone roughed up Dale he wouldn't pay them back right away. He would wait a few weeks, make sure NASCAR forgot about the whole thing and then pay them back. He got away with it everytime.

But that's for another topic, TOASTPAINT!

You don't have to do that whole "wait on NASCAR to forget about it" thing anymore.. Now, NASCAR puts guys on probation. Drivers on probation are subject to all kinds of dirty things, because they can't do anything about it.

Now, I'll Red Green your Toastpaint..
*Wraps toastpaint with duct tape*.
There you go...
