Murphy's Law. Always remember that.

It's a little-known fact that Murphy's Law does not apply to fantasy football.

Shenanigans. My team on Week 5 was a perfect example.

It applies to everyone. Especially Fantasy Football.

All I'm hoping for is that K. Curtis doesn't reach his projected value. Anything less than 10 points, and I win.

Come on...

Well, The Boys soundly beat the Eagles tonight. You can tell it was going to go well for Dallas on the Eagle's opening drive.

The Eagles are weak. The Giants proved it when we sacked McNabb 12 times last game. Romo better hope his linemen are up to the task of protecting him from a healthy and rested Strahan and Umenyiora.

I need Baltimore to score atleast 20 points and not have any turnovers for me to win to night.

I wonder if Ohio State is getting a feeling of Deja Vu?

So I hear New England won on Sunday. Hmmmm... Wonder how that could've happened?

Agh! This is the second time I have held a commanding lead in Fantasy Football and lost it. To the same guy no less. And in the same exact way!

Didn't I say something about Murphy's law a few posts ago.

If there's any week I'm almost certain of defeat in Fantasy Football, it's this week. The Pats' bye. I'm just lucky I'm not playing Stu or Lahi, or I'd get beat down pretty bad.

BTW, Lahi, I'm considering my options, seeing if there's anything I want to trade you for Wes Welker.

^ I meant that in a good way, it was terribly put though.

Unless I'm missing something.

Go Steelers!

You've changed sides more times than John Kerry.

Geez, Ace is unstoppable. Here's hoping he goes down with no Brady this week.

Your wide receiving corp is going to be shot this week, isn't it?

EDIT: Unless you make some changes, you are going to have 2 WRs going.

Got a trade in the works. I'll have Boldin by Sunday.

Let him get all confident and cocky. Cause if he's wrong, the fall back down th Earth will be all that much more painful.

Confident that I'll have enough receivers to start this week?

Yes.

I'm lucky I'm playing who I am. If I was playing you or Stu I'd be in trouble.

Also, I want to get Welker from you but I'm not sure who I have that you'd want.

Antonio Gates better friggin' step it up this week. 1 point? That's ridiculous. Screw you, SD QB.

Also go Priest Holmes.

The NFL is taking all the fun out of the game. Seriously, $100,000 for a freaking towel? And Larry Johnson for the Chiefs gets off scott free for spiking, not a ball during his touchdown celebration, but a freaking flag! He claimed the endzone in the name of [s]Spain[/s] the Chiefs.

Yeah, I thought it was really strange that Johnson didn't even get a penalty for that. That was really excessive.

But for you, it's T.O. I will never have any sympathy for him. Ever.

Michigan and Ohio State got caught looking ahead to next week and the both got dumped. So this means that LSU will be #1 and Oregon #2. I hope it stays like that because that would be an interesting national title game.

Also I thought ESPN's Game Day's choice to go to the D-III Amherst-Williams game was awesome. The other divisions need the spotlight every once in a while. I think they should do the Cortaca Jug next year.

I think that emote works wonders.

By the way, Johnson did get a fine, but only $7,500. So does that mean that flagplanting < towel?

Before the undefeated match-up of the Pats and Colts last week, some kid at my school said, "I hope that the Colts win, so that they have an undefeated record when they come to our house. It'll help the Bolts look better." Whatever, Andy.
Of course, then we went on to lose to the Vikings.

Seems as though my prediction of 8-8 is (so far) on track. I never had faith in the Chargers this year. I knew LT wasn't going to duplicate (or come close to) his numbers from last year, and I knew that when teams started dealing with LT enough, Rivers wouldn't come up with the big plays. Plus, under the direction of all the new coaching and management, I just knew it wouldn't add up.

Sad thing is, with an 8-8 record, they still might make the playoffs.

I'm also glad to see that the Fantasy Team I co-manage (if you count periodically changing the Smack Talk as a big enough job for the co-manager title) is doing well. I have confidence for this week. Don't know why though.

I've kind of set our team to rely on Seattle this week. Let's hope they don't get upset on "any given Sunday". I don't think they will, though. They're playing San Fran.

And they're NOT San Diego.

Hey iKi, tell Philip Rivers to stop being a Rule 6 and throw to Antonio Gates more than once this Sunday. I know they're playing Indy but seriously, you've got the best Tight End in the game, USE HIM.

You, sir, have given me a reason to live.

Ohio State lost... And people told me they were going undefeated this year..
ha. Morons.

Oh well, at least they didn't lose to Gardner-Webb.
