ok ive found a picture of a real bust of van buren (to go with my name) on google images plz walk me step by step throgh how to get it to my sig cause im trying what you said but its not working |

That's called hotlinking, and you're stealing bandwidth from that site. Some sites have codes in them to prevent you from stealing bandwidth, etc etc. Like he said, upload it to image shack. Or Photobucket, Photobucket>Imageshack. |

The code should be: Code: [img]http://www.senate.gov/artandhistory/art/resources/graphic/medium/22_00008.jpg[/img]
But it's too big it has to be 500x100 pixels or less. |

Go to http://www.imageshack.us , then click where it says "Browse". Find the picture on your computer, and then click OK. When the next page appears, copy the link where it says "Direct Link to Image". In your profile, where it says Signature, write "", (without quotes). Paste the link you copied between the two [img]'s. Click submit, at the bottom of the page. Hooray, you're done. |
