yeah, i certainly don't actually think hot topic is punk, i just wasn' t sure if that was a false perception around it. and not to give you too hard of a time otaku, but i just have a problem with calling hot topic alternative because it's just about as homogeneous as an abercrombie store, in its own way. and whereas abercrombie type folks seem to be aware that they dress alike and all, hot topic has this idea of "being different" wrapped around it. but i cant express how gleeful i am that people who shop at hot topic dont think they're punk. because that would be scary. i suppose i haven't been in one for a few years now, anyhow. |

For clothes I hit Casual Male. I'm a big guy and retail hates me. For my kicks, I go to Finish Line. They are the only place in town that have size 15s. I hit up EB Games or Best Buy for electronics. For food on the run, I head to Subway. I like eating healthy when I can. Anything else, I head to Target. Wal-Mart is evil and I avoid anything I deem evil. |

Well, in the Seattle suburbs, its much different. I'm one of the few middle schoolers who actually shops at hot topic and doesn't think they're a "punk" or "rocker" or "Goth" or "Emo" or part of some other subculture pretty much designed for middle schoolers. But I digress... |

I thought ADB was like DVORAK or something. |

Me? Well, I USED to shop at (and practically worship) Robinsons-May until it closed down, so now I mostly get my clothes at Macy's, Kolhs (Which I just got some kick-awsome South Park pajamas at. I didn't even know that those exsisted before Kolhs!!!), and whatever shop I see that has some kinda sweet, sweet t-shirt. I'll go wherever for groceries, and Target for everything else. Walmart... is the manisfestation of pure evil. And death. And... homework. And... something that's bad.

I shop at Frenchys (thrift store) and Zellers mostly. Even then I usually just go for those packs of t-shirts (5 for 2 dollars!? No way!). |

I shop at Lidls and Aldi because I can't afford to pay more than 5c for food. Not really, though. I don't do the shopping; my mother does. And she shops at various places. |

Go ahead, shoot me. These are nice clothes, I like them, they're well-made and comfortable, and this is where I stand. You're gonna have a hard time making me move. Hm, yes, Ninti pretty much summed it up for me. I have like, 10 eagle shirts. Although I haven't even considered A&B or Hollister.
I go into Hot Topic if there's one(mainly because I like the shirts), too. For fast foodening, I'm turning into a Wendy's freak. 99 cent Crispy Chicken Sandwich - awesome. And for everything else, it's Martin's and Wal-Mart. |

All of you are wrong. Wal Mart has anything. If it's not there, you do not need it. End. |

For clothes: H*R store, Forever 21, PacSun, Old Navy/Gap, JCP, Alloy, and Delias. I'm extremely decent with clothes compared to other lady-types. Unless it's for a special occasion, I'm pretty cheap. Eric and I hit up goodwill and salvation army for random items every once in a while. We got a wal*mart grocery store down the street, so we go there for honors system slushies. Oh holy crap. Lemme tell you about honors system slushies. There's this thing at our wal*mart grocery store called the "to-go" thing. and there's soft drinks, coffee, slushies, pastry's, and you pay for everything with the honors system. Like, there's a box labled "Honors system" that you pay in. So we often stop by wal*mart for honors system slushies. sometimes we don't pay. teehee. |
