Back momentarily. I just popped in because I miss you all. Hopefully, one of these days I'll figure out how to have a life beyond my job and I'll be back a little more permanently.

Me too. But my parents will only spend $25 on a gift, so I'll only get said amount in cash. Cheapskate mom. What happened to dad rule? Anyway, here's what I want: -Municipality T-shirt -Shockey monkey T-shirt (I doubt they'll look even further when they see the bird. And maybe rip my Pilz-e shirt away from me. And put stricter controls on my Interneting.) -Thrice Identity Crisis I don't know whether to ask for the rest in cash/gift cards or some other stuff. But then again, the year before I asked for so little I got a lot... of not good stuff. Half of it was Spongebob-related. It kind of got annoying with me how they thought all I was interested in was that. I'm a casual, occasional watcher, not some fanatic fangeek. And my mom bought the same thing my sister bought me for a video game. I still have two copies of Bart Vs. The Space Mutants, waiting for when my mom will get to selling all my useless crap already. Sorry. It's my mom. She's the one who's baffled at why I'm so irritated at her. I'll think of some more stuff, though. I swear by it. |

Haha, yeah. I'm pretty much in love with the saw. It has a really, really pretty ring. I also want to learn the theremin, but it's kinda pricey. Also, the mandolin rocks. |

I have so many ridiculously awesome albums on vinyl, and no record player. I definatley need one of them. Okay, super updated list. *Dylan - Bob Dylan: Ahhhhh my friend has it on vinyl and I love it, but obviously, I can't borrow and copy it beause it's vinyl *Satanic Panic in the Attic - Of Montreal: I almost got this last time I was at Barnes & Noble but I got some OK Go instead. Now I want this. *Record player: Yeahhhh, I have some real cool old vinyls and no way to use them. So yes. *New tape player: Mine only works out of one headphone and it angers me. *New CD player: Same thing as tape player *MP3 player maybe?: Always helpful to have, lots easier than carrying around a bunch of CDs and tapes *Tigermilk - Belle & Sebastian: Steve said it was awesome, and I believe him. *Stumpbox III - They Might be Giants: There are some things on it that I really want to hear, and I'm not sure how to aquire it, seeing as it's a bootleg. *Bob Dylan: Bootleg Series 1-7: I have volume 4, and it rules so bad, I need the rest of them. *Recording Equipment: Includes computer microphones, tape recorders, blank tapes, and maybe even a USB tape to computer device thing. I don't know if I told you guys, but Meaghan and Alex and I are starting a small record label for local bands and artists, and the $7 I designated as "Record Label Money" were blown on girl scout cookies. They're RECORD LABEL girl scout cookies. *Obtuse Reference Sam & Fuzzy shirt: Wow, that shirt owns. I need it. *Kingdom Hearts 2: No, I don't have it yet, yes, I really really want it. *Splinter Cell: Double Agent: Splinter Cell is a drug, and I need more. I think that's it. Maybe there's more, that I'm not remembering. |

Wow. Great album. Get it. Get it hard. Also, if you get all the record/tape/CD/.mp3 players that you get, I highly recommend this. I wish I had more tape/vinyls. But the used vinyl/tape places around here never have any E6 stuff. Boo. |

as far as copying vinyl goes... they sell usb turntables that funtion regularly, and interface easily with computers to record your albums into mp3s. really, though, i have a regular one (with a built in preamp, very important) that i use to record my albums onto my comp. it's pretty easy. and actually, the same idea can work for cassette tape. i'll explain sometime if youre interested. i think i know a bit better what i want: the new tom waits album final fantasy 12 a beard trimmer (i hate shaving.) anything cool/new/fancy involving my guitar/bass. (i'd actually really like a direct box for my bass) |

What's the sound quality like with that? My parents have a couple albums that are not likely to appear on CD any time soon that it'd be nice to have somehow. (Flash Gordon soundtrack, anyone?) So I'm definitely getting the GC TP for Christmas now. Nice. |

sound quality is about as good as you want it. all that poppy scratchy vinyl warmth, in as perfect as condition as you want, it just depends what type of file compression you use when you encode it. i like apple lossless, but it takes up a whole lotta memory, so i usually use AAC format at around... 128kbps? i think? and then of course you can burn the files to cd, after that. super toastpaint though, sorry. |

Ooh! Ooh! I want... a Razr cell phone. They are so slick. BD I want a green one. Also possibly a webcam, but I don't know if we'll have our new compy by then, and I think I'd like a good, high-quality digital camera. AND WHILE I'M WISHING FOR INCREDIBLY EXPENSIVE THINGS, I WANT A PONY. In the realistic presents department... Borders gift cards, Hot Topic gift cards, theSTART merchandise...[s] and a new purse. I really need a new purse. RIP Bernardo the 40-Year-Old Transvestite Former Army Commander Purse.[/s] NEW PURSE GET! Her name is Natasha, and she's black leather with little blue stars. Sweet. |

"Banquet" is one of my favorite songs ever... it just makes me feel all happy inside. You can download two of Hot Hot Heat's songs here, I believe. Listen to "Goodnight Goodnight", it's pretty grand. |

Let's see here. I would like(I never say "I want," too presumptuous): An Eli Manning Jersey A Notre Dame Jersey A Montreal Canadiens Jersey The Complete James Bond Collection Seasons 10 & 11 of M*A*S*H A Good Paying Job and that is about it. It's a short but somewhat expensive list |
