what do you think of them? And which will you be getting?

I'm getting the Wii and 360. I was originally against the 360 but then I started to like it. Meh.

It won't if people are mature and smart enough to realize that it's a freaking video game system and not a god or a presidential candidate, or anything else that makes any difference.

Also, debating the consoles NOW makes more sense than it did 6 months ago (when only the 360 was out).

Wii and XBOX 360=PWNAGE. PS3= Not so much, too big, bulky, loud, and gets too hot. I'm not getting any of them...

My guess is that Sony did that to ensure they can release a "new" PS3 in about 6 months.

The one thing I do like about the PS3 is that onboard "NextGen" DVD player, unless, of course, BluRay becomes the new "Beta".

I haven't seen that happen. The first ones that came out had some problems, but mine isn't any louder than my PS2.

To my knowledge, the PS3 has razed three houses to the ground, that's how hot it gets. Plus I hate the controllers, too small, and I have big hands...

Sure, the 360 is loud (mine is, at least) but it's got a pretty awesome selection of games, and it's only going to get better, with Forza 2 in February, and Halo 3 sometime later.
Wii is pretty awesome as well. It's a different experience, and that's why I like it.
PS3. No.

Weren't there reports like that when the 360 came out, too?

As for the controller, I haven't held one yet, but I've heard that they're basically the PS2 controller. If so, then that's great. It's one of the most comfortable controllers I've used. My favorite, though, is the NES advantage. (My friend Kelly and I used to beat Super Mario Brothers 3 with he feet using that thing)

It basically is, except pressing on the L2 and R2 buttons is like squeezing the trigger of a bad air soft gun, and nothing happening. they suck actually.

I seriously believe that the PS3 is just the 360 watered down with PS2 components and the latest PSP Firmware installed on it. IF youve played the Kiosk, then you know what im talking about.

I've got a Wii, and I think I might get a PS3 when the price drops A LOT!

The reason being, Xbox doesn't really have any gaming franchises I'm interested in, whereas the PS3 will have new Final Fantasies and Kingdom Hearts.

2. I think Kingdom Hearts was pretty good, would be better if I could skip past All the cutscenes

Play FIFA World Cup 2006 for the 360, and any doubts you have will be gone. Seriously, people who don't even like soccer love that game.

XBox has some sick fetish with First Person Shooters, which will lead to their downfall. XBox Live saves the 369

Nintendo has a good idea with the Wii. Games that require physical interaction. Doctors like it because it promotes exercise. Gamers will like it be cause it is just plain fun.

And Sony is being Sony by going over the top with the PS3. They have thrown in everything but the kitchen sink into the PS3. The also have some of the best games. The PS3 will have Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Gran Turismo HD, Gran Turismo 5 and Devil May Cry 4. They also have FULL backwards compatibility.

So the PS3 and the Wii are for me.

I'm pretty sure that's just a result of the PS3 attempting to up-convert the PS2 graphics to HD resolution. I'm sure if can be fixed with a simple firmware upgrade.
