I'm going to my girlfriend's house in an hour to exchange gifts.

I got her a bunch of DVDs (spongebob, invader zim), the new spyro game, some shirts, and a notebook full of all sorts of inside jokish stuff.
I was going to give her my wii, and DL some games onto the virtual console for her, but my wii wont arrive in time. I guess it'll be a new year's gift.

Maybe I'll just play it once...

I'm back. I got an awesome sonic the hedgehog shirt, and a mario one.

And a huge stockpile of candy.

:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Copy-pasted from my LJ. I checked, I'm pretty sure there was only one swear word in there, and I edited it out.

PARENTAL UNITS:

-A little set of Invader Zim hairclips/barrettes/whatever the heck you wanna call 'em. A pair with GIR and a pair with piggies. And you can, liek, mix and match. SOCUTE.
-A GIR scarf.
-A really beautiful picture of Jack and Sally and...I think his name's Zero, from The Nightmare Before Christmas. It's very pretty and is definitely worthy of going up on my bedroom wall. ;)
-Another Jack Skellington bandanna. I can't find mine, so they got another one. Fwee. <3
-A more different Nightmare Before Christmas bandanna.
-Gigantic: A Tale Of Two Johns on DVD. One of the few documentaries out there that's actually COOL AND INTERESTING. Prolly because it's about They Might Be Giants.
-Corpse Bride on DVD.
-Edward Scissorhands on DVD. I almost cried at the end of that movie. So SWEET. <3
-The Venue Songs DVD.
-State Songs by John Linnell.
-A REALLY NICE DIGITAL CAMERA OMG
-A memory card for said camera.
-A little book about photography and art.
-Ductigami: The Art Of The Tape. It's a book about making stuff out of duct tape.
-A roll of duct tape.
-How NOT To Draw Manga.
-Skull slippers. Not just any skulls. PIRATE skulls. IN SLIPPER FORM.
-The TMBG Songs shirt.
-The Aimee Echo shirt. Myrrh, you may not know it yet, but you so totally envy me. ;)
-A batch of theSTART Shakedown! stickers.
-A theSTART patch. This'll look so awesome on my backpack! ^^
-A theSTART Initiation button.
-Chocolate. Duh. I ALWAYS get chocolate on Christmas. (Not that that's a bad thing, of course. ;))
-A Nightmare Before Christmas shirt that says "True Love Never Dies". Aww. <3
-Invader Zim earrings. They're black and heart-shaped, and one has GIR holding a taco (with a little pile of tacos behind him) and the other says "I love the little tacos!" Vera cute.

GRANDPARENTAL UNITS:

-A FRIGGIN' CELLPHONE :D
-A case for said cellphone.
-A bunch of gel pens.
-A nice makeup mirror.
-Oddly, not any clothes. That's unusual for them. I'm fine with it anyway, considering all the clothes I got from Mom and Dad.

PAUL (BOYFRIEND UNIT):

-A bootleg Rya shirt. Seriously. IRON-ONS FTW
-A little String Doll Gang doll. It's a keychain AND A PIRATE! I've been eyeing those things at New Leaf for a long time. And I don't even think he knew that. He knows me so well. <3

THE SICKNESS FAIRY...UNIT:

-A cold. This, however, does not count.

Did you know that I have very awesome parents? And a very awesome boyfriend? And pretty cool grandparents?

Jeez, bwave, how much money have you spent on presents for her?

Just enough monies to not have any left to buy presents for my family. (Just over $200, for her.)

Then I found my last paycheck from the cemetery that I worked at. I'd been looking for that for a while, and when I found it, I went out and bought some last minute stuff for my family.

I just opened my presents, and I got the weight set (2x 35#, 2x 10#, and 2x 25#, and a bar) and weight bench I mentioned. Then I also got some anime magazines, a 140# gripper, a powerball, ankle/wrist weights, new headphones, and a simpson's shirt.

Then my grandma showed up, and I got a computer 3d art/animation magazine, and $100.

Life=good.

- Twilight Princess (Wii)
- That Rayman Bunny Game (also Wii)
- THE FRIGGIN' COMPLETE CALVIN AND HOBBES (That impossibly heavy 3-book hardback collection of every single strip. Limited supply, maybe 200 made of each version, so 400 of these total. Around 200 bucks.)
- Wacom Tablet (I CAN DARW 8D)
- CELLPHONE (thank friggin' god)
- An oragami book for dollar bills
- Tons of clothes from the grandma
- A donation to the Indian Children's Foundation in my name (and a blanket that every donater gets. This was such a great present.)
- Candy (JELLY BELLY BEANS)
- A little music box with fish and coral on it that plays "Beyond The Sea" (awesome song)
- A Cloud (of Final Fantasy fame, but from the Kingdom Hearts line) figurine
- Web hosting from my aunt
- The Big Book of Hell (Life in Hell book)

And I got my relatives (because I like giving)

My Dad: A Sudoku game (awesome wood box containing an awesome sudoku game set inside)

My Sister: A kitten statuette
My Brother: A couple magic card decks (he loves magic)

That's my Christmas.

Thrice - Identity Crisis
Support the Municipality T-shirt
Some body sprays I'll never use
Yellow scarf and gloves I'll also never use
Candy
2 Starfox Commands
Snowman snowglobe
Taz ornament
Evil monkey slippers
$10
Reading light
$75 gift cards to Borders (One's $20, the second's $25, and the third's $30)
4 GB MP3 Player once my sister remembers that she has a 5 GB one now and since thinking her old one's useless will hand it over to me.

In short, mediocre. Got stuff that I wanted, but I really need to tell my Aunt and Uncle that I'm not really that girly at all (fragrances, yellow, that girly backpack and journal from graduation that's gathering dust), and my mom's family that I'm not into reading anymore. I mean, an Amex gift card would be a lot more flexible! But now I have to figure out how to spend $75 in gift cards on stuff that I don't really want. Unless I can convince my mom to allow me to purchase some comic compilations. Then there's a chance I might spend all $75. I'm not trying to sound ungrateful, but they could've made a wiser choice in gifts. Like, wiser as in stuff I'll definitely use more than three times.
