Pokemon, Yugioh and Duall Masters: You already know how i feel about the cards, now for the smarmy TV shows. Theyre terrible, all really bad and corny. The only one without a show is Magic, and it should remain that way, the others are too hyped up! |

Ugh. Yes. Elimidate equals sucks. I hate most everything on MTV nowadays. Maybe it's cause I'm turnin' into an old fogey, but I get sick of "Real World/Road Rules culinary challenge" crap. What are they on now, like season 63 of those stupid shows? |

What are they on now, like season 63 of those stupid shows? I hate those shows too, but I think they have more "right" to be on, so to speak....they were the first reality shows made, if I'm not mistaken. I hate 99.9% of reality shows. The other 0.01% is stomachable at best. I pretty much despise MTV altogether....old fogeys unite! |

Does anybody else recall the surge of excitement upon the announcement that MTV2 was only going to play music videos? That was really nice for a while (except during black history month when they would only play Hip hop and rap.) Unfortunately, MTV2 has turned into MTV -- The crap we couldn't fit onto MTV. |

Yeah! MTV2's main selling point was "All Music All the Time" and now it's just more of the same. Uck. Unkept promised abound. |

How about Star Trek Voyager? Let's see, how are we going to solve our problem this week? Maybe write a new Holodeck algorhythm? Or reconfigure the sensor array? How about modulating the shield phase? Ooh! Ooh! I know! We'll make up some stupid theoretical particle that doesn't exist! That would be so awexome! Just wait til those aliens get a faceload of THAT! Heck, you have to have a Masters Degree in Theoretical Physics just to watch the dang show! The only reason anyone watched the show was 7/9, aka, "that really hot cyborg chick." "Resistence is futile." And, man, that bald-headed Holo Dr. got on my freaking NERVES! Can a character BE more snobbish? And what about that Enterprise show? For a while there, it was like every episode was about freaking Time Paradoxes. What the Crap? I kept expecting that guy with the cigar and the calculator to come out and start telling Scott Bakula what to do. That's why I liked Firefly. Stupid Fox Network! They canned a really fresh idea in scifi. They made a show about PEOPLE! Not weird aliens, not super android robots, not micromegatron particles, not super hyped-up theoretical technology; just people trying to make a living in space. And the jerks canned it without even giving the viewers a chance to watch all the episodes! A pox on your firstborn, Fox Network, you and your "fair and impartial" news channel! |

Is it me, or does anyone else find Wife Swap horrible. Lets take our wifes and switch them around. And they always have to pick opposites so there would be a lot of trouble. I find it completely stupid. |

Yeah. A lot of these marriage-related shows follow the formula of, "if it ain't broke, shake it really really hard". |

Arg. I can't wait for "Survivor: Wal-Mart Supercenter"! Will the ever find food? Will they ever find a place to build shelter? Yeah. Check the grocery section and the sporting goods section. |

I have lost all faith in network programming. Either they take a horrible idea and run it further into the ground, or they take a good idea and run it into the ground. I have only a few shows that I watch: Mythbusters, Daily Show, and the MLB playoffs. |

Absolutely. Discovery is digging their own grave lately, I think. First, they made American Choppers into a weekly series, which I guess is okay, but then came American Hotrod and then American Salon or something stupid like that! Seriously! It was about a hair salon! They did the same thing with Monster Garage, now adding Monster House and Monster Nation to their already wrench-heavy lineup. Mythbusters is probably my favorite thing to watch on TV nowadays. I freaked out when I saw Adam Savage on the Matrix Revolutions dvd! |

This is tough, because... see, I think pretty much everything on TV is mind-numbing crap. Coming from a relatively un-TV'd viewpoint, there's nothing like finding out about some show that's already running and that people are already watching, and you're like "What the heck? How could they ever convince lobotomied chickens, much less otherwise intelligent people, to watch that?" It's a tribute to the effects of advertising, really; I mean, if you think of the premises of some these shows, taken without other explanation... well, ten years ago, if you had walked into the office of a network executive and tried to pitch "reality tv," he would have laughed in your face. It sounds like the sort of idea that should have flopped--so hard that its belly would have stung for weeks. To quote Jerry Seinfeld, "If I wanted reality, I'd take the tube out of my tv and look through the wood box!" Even when my college dorm got cable I pretty much watched only two channels, cartoon network and sci fi. At the moment I can only think of one good show on tv (that I watch; there are probably others watchable), The Simpsons. (And you know, think about what a miracle that show is. It's been on... how long now? And how long does it take the average show that's any good to either run out of quality creative juice or be transformed into mediocrity by the networks?) There are some shows, like Alias or X-files, that I feel like I would probably love if I had gotten into them on the ground floor, but I just can't jump in now. And hey... no matter how good they are, it's an hour per week per season more that I can spend actually having my own life, and doing something interesting with it. |

And what the crap is up with Scooby Doo? I mean, they travel around unmasking ghosts, and they got a FREAKING TALKING DOG? I mean, how can you NOT BELIEVE IN GHOSTS when you got a TALKING DOG? Frankly, if a dog walked up to me, talking about some, "Scooby Dooby DOO!" you'd see a Didymus-shaped hole in the wall and a cloud of dust on the horizon. The only reason to watch that show was Daphne. I used to think she was really hot. And how about Shaggy and Scooby? You can't tell me that there's no illegal drug use going on there. I mean, just look at them! Can't you just imagine the two of them coming out of the back of the Mystery Machine going, "Hey, Scoob! *cough cough* That sure was some good stuff!" "Reah! Reah! Reh heh HEH heh heh!" It would certainly explain why they always have the munchies and why they are constantly paranoid. Neither I nor the H*R Wiki admins condone the use of illegal drugs. Just say No, kids! And the show is like on all the freaking time now. I mean, they got "Scooby Doo: Where Are You?", "Scooby Doo Movies", "A Pup Named Scooby Doo", "The New Adventures of Scooby Doo". I mean, GOOD FREAKING GRIEF!! How many freaking Scooby Doo shows can they come up with?! And the bad guys on those shows are so freaking stupid, too! I mean, they can't just steal something and get away, like a normal sane criminal. NOOOOO! This parade of idiots has to DRESS UP IN STUPID HALLOWEEN COSTUMES AND TRY TO SCARE PEOPLE!! What the Crap?! These morons need to read the BOZO CRIMINAL OF THE DAYweb site sometime! SHEESH!! |

Ah, Dr. Phil. Making familys feel better about themselves since 3000 B.C. He's gotta be that old I'll now quote from an actual show what he said "You will all lead a life of suppretion, frustration, and sadness." Yup, good ol Doc Phillip. Just makes us all feel satisfied with our lives one Trailer Park at a time. |

Anyone hear about that show, Nanny 911? It's when they (Fox) bring a nanny to a home with the most unruly kids in the world. It kinda reminds me of The Simpsons episode with Sherry Bobbins. Who would let their kids get that bad? Those parents don't need a nanny, they need a cattle prod. Disclamer: Neither I nor should anyone else ever harm a child, ever. I was just using that line to show how unruly those kids are. |
