So yeah...thought it might be worth a few good roffleburgers to post any sort of TRUE news story (note that it must be from an earnest news source--not from a parody source like The Onion) that you may find online. And of course, I have just such a news story that spurred me to create this thread. (Oh, and if this thread has already been created...shame on me for not utilizing the search engine better.) So to kick things off:

Boy Screams, Kills Hundreds of Chickens

The first 2 in this thread aren't funny. The first one is just weird (and sad when you think of the chicken's owner), and the second one is just tragic. A strange way to die, yes, but not funny.

Well, yes, the first was sad due to the deaths of all those chickens, but still, "Trampled each other to death in fear" - That cracked me up.

It's the one with the 2 year old dying that gets me though. I mean, who would find that funny?

Yeah, that was just sick.

and netzen: The boy was screaming for a long time, it says. it'd be pretty hard to kill 443 chickens.

The second one IS sad, but I think it's just the sheer weirdness of the first that makes it somewhat funny.

Slightly unclear on the concept of "Bigfoot"--wooden Bigfoot statue returned after its theft, without the feet

Nah...probably a piece that was accidentally dropped and lost during some plane that was adding something to the atmosphere to control the weather, as the conspiracy goes.

I used that "artist's impression" as my avatar for a while.
You know that had to be a slow news day.

Man bites panda.

He wanted to give it a hug, but it bit him, so he bit it back.

Yes, he was drunk.

ERGH I was going to post that.

Both that, and this version of the article said that the officials are so angry at the Adult Swim People. Like they thought that they did the bomb scare on purpose.

Be careful with frozen animals. In cartoons, they always end up being from the Stone Age. And then they go on wacky adventures with a group of teenagers.

In other news that's disturbingly revealing of how flawed we are as a society, People Walk Over Stabbed Woman In Grocery Store.
