I can just imagine that: Like from Return of the King
Those four users are the four hobbits, and khan earl is Aragorn. He bows and then, slowly, the rest of the forum bows to them. The super artists all look at each other...
Man, so cool.

Kik's, you're cooler now since you've stated you've never seen LOTR.

Props to ramrod yet again for having the courage to not go see moves just because they were popular.
But you should see LOTR. The Star Wars movies are ok. The Matrix ones are... not so good. But LOTR is worth seeing.

Here's the odd thing: I've seen the first half of the first of all of those movie series, never anything else. I have a very short attention span for movies, unless they're in the theater.

Yay. Yesterday ruled.

We were going to our choir festival at Magic Mountain. We were to be at school at 8:15 so we could get on the bus and go. But, right before on of the buses got to our school's parking lot, it broke down, so we had to wait another 45 minutes for another bus to come. Finally we get on the bus, and we start to venture on to Magic Mountain. By the time we leave school, we are already an hour off schedule. So, after about an hour of driving, we run into traffic, and my choir teacher gets a phone call. It's one of the kid in the choirs mom who decided to drive on their own up to Magic Mountain. She tells my teacher that she got in a wreck (which what was causing all the traffic), but that they were okay. So, we decide to drive up to the wreck (takes about thirty minutes), and pick up the girl in the choir. So, by now, we have already missed our performance time, and we are still about a half-hour away from the park. We finally get to the park, and we are just on time to perform. So, right after we get out of the bus, we have to run to the theatre and sing.

Sounds good so far, don't it?

Anyway, so we warm-up, and we get on the stage. We are a bit shaken up after the series of unfortunate events, but we still have to perform and impress the judges - somehow. We start to sing, and I have to say that I didn't think we had ANY chance of winning. Especially since we have never won in first in my three years in middle school. And this year's choir just never seemed as good as the rest of the choirs we have had.
So anyway, we sing, and it was great. And when I say great, I though about a fourth place in the standings.
Anyway, so after that, we were free to enjoy the park until 6, when we had to come back to the stadium for the award ceremony.
So, I'll pick up at six. We go to the award ceremony, and I don't expect to win any big trophies. So, they go over the stupd rules like they do every year, and then (finally) it is time to give out the hardware. Well, the first award they are giving out is to the women's choirs. We have one, but obviously I didn't help them out any. So, they got first place in the middle school division. And on a rating out of 100, they got a 95 from the judges. I didn't really care about them winning, but of course, I had to be proud of them.
Then they did the best middle school mixed choir. This is the award I cared about. We weren't in last. ANd as they continued to announce the school names, down the list, I began to build more and more anticipation. It got down to third. We were still in. Then second, we were still in. I was shaking all over at this point. We had come this far in sixth grade, but ended up in second place. Finally, the moment I had been waiting for for three years. He called the second place winners, and it wasn't us. I was so shocked. I could not believe we had finally came in first place. I was so happy. And we got a rating of 94 out of 100.
Then we won two more trophies, which were Best Overall Middle School choir, and the Best Spirited choir.

It was such an awesome day. So basically the only reason I made this post was to thank my director.

Wow. That was a long one. A very long one.

And after all that, I get a nice TOTPD. Yay.

Mondo woot-prop-kudos to BTG for his Pulp Fiction Avatar, Sig, and Location Trifecta. Pulp Fiction is probably the best non-series movie of all time, ever. To heck with Casablanca.

In conclusion, Royale with cheese.
