I'll watch The Discovery Channel and The History Channel if I see something interesting on (like Pompeii, which was on last night. I stayed up way to late watching it.), and there are shows that I watch daily, like The Simpsons and The Andy Griffith Show (no, he's not taped on my television.)

The Simpsons is my all-time favorite show, and The Andy Griffith Show is just so darn intertaining to watch. Except for the episodes without Don Knotts.

I also watch The Travel Channel some. It's got some interesting stuff (I love shows about roller coasters.)

If someone at school says they watch The Simpsons, I blow up in their face and start naming all these facts and episodes untill they run away. It's so much fun.

I always wonder if I should find another show, since I watch it twice a day, have The Simpsons silly putty, six posters, The Simpsons Trivia and Clue, a lamp, a calander, a NES game (Bart Vs. the Space Aliens), a PS2 game (Road Rage), a DVD, and I even did two art projects on Homer Simpson.

...GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!!

Yeah, you've basically named all of my television attributes, and if you just add Cartoon Network's Adult Swim (link added to waive the "Adult Swim? You sicko!" comments) and the National Geographic Channel, then you've got me in a nutshell.

Speaking of Family Guy (a few posts up) I thought I saw a commercial on Fox for a new show called "American Dad" or something like that. Looks to be from the Family Guy people, and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it?

I watched the pilot for American Dad about six months ago. It seemed pretty funny, though nothing groundbreaking. Anyway, Wikipedia knows all.

The pilot for "American Dad" comes out right after the Super Bowl so how could you have seen it?

This is the internet. I'll give you two guesses.

And anyway, what I have isn't the actual TV pilot, as it's only about seven minutes long. I suppose it's the "demo" pilot that they show to the studio execs in order to get the show greenlighted.

^ Poor poor IJ, you are going to be sitting on the group W bench one day saying that you were put there because you were put down for piracy (that would be pretty funny)

Discovery channel, weather channel...
What if you DON'T have cable (or live in the USA?)

Anyhoo, I like comedies and documentaries mostly. But I like my share of dramas and reality TV.

I don't have cable, so that sucks. I like the Simpsons, but they don't show it where I live, so I have to buy the DVD box sets.
I like the Amazing Race, despite it being a reality show.
I don't watch a lot of TV coz I work 6 nights a week, which means I can't really keep up with anything so I just don't bother.

Has anyone else seen It Takes A Theif? It's a very interesting show on the discovery channel. Basicly (i think) they take a family (or group of people who live together) and the host takes them somewhere while the other host (an ex theif) goes into their home and the Family watches how quick the theif can get in and out. After that the hosts get the family a better security system and then after that (try to) Break in again to test the family. It is a good show

So, this "American Dad" thing - what did you think? I thought it was just really weird. Entertaining, but weird - and not in a good way. I don't think it'll last.

Switch to satillite it is cheaper and you get just as many channels as you would with digital cable.

I don't even know if my landlord would let me mount a dish on the side of my building, and for that matter I don't think I want that kind of wart on the wall of my perfectly attractive apartment. At any rate, it's still a minimum forty bucks a month for TV that I'll only watch a few hours a week.

I've seen the whole thing. I taped it all. It's basically like Family Guy with political jokes. NOW THAT IS A GREAT COMBO!

I saw American Dad, and I really didn't like it. I thoiught that they were just basically using the same basic outline they used for Family Guy and added an alien. That's just me though, who knows, maybe I'l start to like it after a while...

Here they are!
I don't know their names or what they do. There has only been one episode so far.

All of those guys look really uncomfortable.

And only the one on the far left is even remotely cute.

PizzaTrophy, I had no idea you were a "chick". Blimey. Now I've got to adjust the extrogen-to-testosterone chart.

At any rate, they do all have nice suits, I'll give them that.

Meh, sometimes it's difficult to tell around here, what, with all the non-gender specific names and all...

Gender non-specific

Specific non-gender??

I watched the first Australian Queer Eye episode too. I thought that Ten said it was coming ages ago, like last year or something.
