Explorer + EMGs + inlays + pickguard + Dethklok name + already high instrument price = Very expensive

It doesn't cost much to make a mirror pickguard, its just a clear piece of plastic with Silver/Chrome spray paint on one side. Plus, 70% of all Epiphone guitars are between $100 - $700, with the most expensive being the Double Neck and the Zakk Wylde guitars. Something tells me its going to be around $500 - $700, taking in to the account thats its just the Goth with a Different $100 Inlay, $100 tuners, and $20 pick guard.

^$500-$700 is still way more than I can afford. Unless I start saving like right now. Or spend my car money on it.

But it's going to have Signature Syndrome.
Ordinary guitars are bumped up to higher prices because of the name.

Pre-wire a set of EMG Single Coil pickups to a Fender Strat pickguard and slap the name David Guilmore on it.

Hmm... You're right. $800.

Or you can go to a Local Guitar shop that ISN'T Guitar Center, Herme's Music, or a Zuckers, and haggle for one.

Or better yet, get a job at a local Guitar Shop and befriend the owner and workers, and get it for Half off/Free. I'm gonna apply for a job at a local Music Store here just for that reason!

I'm 14. That's kinda not possible. I'll try the first thing you said, though. It might not work though because this is the only place like that where I live and I doubt they'll have it.

I looked at that site, they have some pretty cool (expensive) guitars and amps in there, I'd be scared to play them though.

So what's the deal with the pickguard on the Dethklok guitar. Is it mirrored or is there sumkinda graphic on it?

Me too but COLA said mirrored and it kinda looks like it could be.

EDIT:
According to this, it has a black pickguard.
Maybe it's really shiny black.

Oh, yeah, he might be right.
Well now I'm stuck, it looks like it could be painted on, but it also looks like it could be the light reflecting off of it.

I don't have any money, I'm living in a box.. with a laptop.

I saw two things at a Guitar Center I thought was interesting.

Acoustic bass guitar

Double neck acoustic guitar

My guitars:

Epiphone sunburst acoustic guitar

Ibanez gray electric guitar

And I'll get pics of my guitars later.

Oh yes, by the ways.

My brother has decided to sell me his back-up guitar that he bought like 2 months ago. Its an SG, Epiphone style, but light, awesome sounding, and vintage yellow! =D

Its one of the shmexiest guitars I have ever laid eyes on. Its simple and at the same time, has this wonderful kick-awesome attitude about it.

So yeah, I'm going to be pickin' it up for $125.00.

He's also going to throw in an old Fender Acoustic he has that he just messes around with while commercials are on TV. 'Prolly what I'll end up doing with it as well. lol

Won't be long now you guise and I can jam wiff you all! =D

That's what I thought but I've never seen a tab that noted it that way.

Yeah, usually it doesn't matter which direction you bend it, but a rule of thumb with bending is bend the higher three strings up, and the lower three down.

None the less, it should just be b, like 15b16

It's this song, if that gives it some context.

Awesome dude! I love the looks of SGs, and Epiphone is a great brand.

As for the Fender acoustic...well, at least it's free.

I drew up a concept for a Steampunk Dean ML a few nights ago, and I'm planning on picking one up with some Birthday money i get so I can specifically Steampunk it.

I call it the Mechanical Doom Walker Input Device. It will be hooked up to the headpiece I'm designing, and when the two connect, a flurry of lights will shine on both... Either that, or it'll just look cool.
