So basically I decided to ask my friend Kendra (who is Sarah's best friend) what the best way to let her know/ask her out would be. And thank god I didn't listen to Duece, because she warned me to do the complete opposite of what he told me to do.

Yeah, you definitely need to take the first step. He's probably just scared of going too far, and he doesn't want to upset you. Once he sees that you're okay with that kind of thing, he'll be more apt to do it.
