Well, they want me to. Despite their stalwart liberal libertarian stance, they can sometime resort to "rustic" measures - and while they're not going to arrange me a relationship, they want me to get one.

I may stand in defiance.

Humor them. Ask out some chick, and when she says no, you tell your parents that you tried.

My friend is going to ask my guyfriend/crush if he would go out with me or not if I ever asked him. I did the same for her and she has been in that relationship for over a month "A new record!" she says.

But seriosly you guys I'm scared about how he would react. He is like my older brother and I hope he doesn't go all "I guess I can't be around you 'cuz you like me>->" and all. I doubt he will but can anyone help me out please?

Its kinda funny that I have been giving advice and now I'm askin for ya'll's. :p

Yeah, this is a tricky problem. But you just gotta think, is he the type of guy that would act like that? Chances are, if you're good friends, the answer is no (and since you like him, he's probably a pretty nice guy who wouldn't do something like that). You can't be 100% sure, but you might just have to take that risk.
