Hey, who here likes Weezer? They're one of my favorite bands ever and I just bought their new album and I think it's terrific. I'm sure most of you have at least HEARD some of their stuff "Buddy Holly, Say It Ain't So, Beverly Hills"... the old stuff is still the best stuff.

I just watched their new music video and it's probably one of the funniest most awesome ones I've ever seen. It's got Chris Croker (The leave Brittany alone!! guy)... the "dramatic look" gopher... the yuma yuma guy.. etc. and lightsaber drumsticks!

Check it yourself yo

... anybody else here into the =w=eez?

I believe this article is pertinent to that video because of the fact that it uses memes that have been beaten like a dead horse long ago in a pathetic attempt to appeal to internet users.

EDIT:

Fixed for BTG

Hey ExLax, if you could post something useful instead of spam, it'd be great.

I like some songs by Weezer, but they could never get over with me.

Weezer sucks.

I like Weezer. I haven't picked up the new album yet, though.

Weezer sucks.

*cough*

hahaha..

ha

... Weezer sucks?! You've GOT to be kidding me. Seriously. Maybe their new stuff isn't amazing... but their OLD stuff is unbelievable. Undone, Buddy Holly, Only In Dreams, MNIJ, Pink Triangle, Tired of Sex, Across the Sea, Butterfly, Mykel and Carli, Susanne....

You've GOT to be kidding me. The best thing about Pork and Beans is it harkens back to the classic days. COME ON. Weezer rocks!

Listen to Pink Floyd. That's amazing. A beat you can dance to and lyrics just above third grade level doesn't make anything even close to amazing.

The fact that a band can go from Great to suck shows the incompetence of its listeners to know good music.

I like some of Weezer's music, though I'm not that big of a fan of them.

First things first, little one, let me fix this:

Second, In no particular order:

  • Buckethead
-Great and sporadic songs, no lyrics to confuse the brain, insane guitar skills, ranges from metal to soft comfortable music
  • Primus
-The greatest use of a Bass Guitar ever, insane and hypnotic beats, lyrics, and great vocal sytlings from Les Claypool
  • Pink Floyd
-The lyrical mastermind Roger Waters and the guitar and musical virtuoso of David Gilmour= Sex in music form.
  • Devin Townsend
-Great Guitar Playing, extreme competence when it comes to music writing, Great Concept Artist
  • Peter Frampton
-Waaaah-----Wah wah wah wah wah, He comes Alive, Music varies from great Rock N Roll to the most beautiful melodies ever written
And then several others that sporadically place places.

I generally enjoy Weezer, good band, had their best stuff on their first album, had a wave of mediocrity, and then their latest effort was pretty decent. I don't understand all the hate.

And Ninti, I hate to say it, but Pink Floyd isn't everything.

I haven't heard it yet, but I want to SO BAD. They're older stuff was cool, so hopefully their newer stuff will be cool too.

Aw crap, now I want to listen to Buddy Holly.

Want to no longer, check it out. It's kinda crazy. Like a Weezer styled Bohemian Rhapsody.
