That's a good idea as well.

I think that the admins should make a sticky thread that's a Holiday Suggestion Box, and then, once a month, pick which one they think is the best and we only celebrate that one.

Actually, we once had a thread like that.

I really think we have enough "holidays" right now. They're starting to get boring and even annoying. We should revert to just Robot Day and Talk Like a Pirate Day.

That's actually a good idea, but don't forget about Admin/Mod Appreciation Day, because without them, this forum would've died long ago. Since people don't seem to celebrate holidays as much anymore (see: Translate Your Name Day :P), then three holidays a year is perfectly fine--it gives people time to recuperate from the last one.

EDIT: In fact, I'll probably edit the holiday dictionary later if enough people can agree on this. Oh, and I know that the old holiday dictionary didn't get deleted, as that was a mistake on my part.

At this forum, every day is a holiday... really... Or at least that's how it will be eventually if we keep this up.

I say we limit ourselves to one or two forum-based holidays a month and only use holidays with very awesome or important themes. In addition, there should be a reference thread regarding holiday information and a council set up to regulate the existence of holidays.
