I tested my theory from page 1 of this thread on my RPG forum. Other than the fact that I don't know how to get a sub-forum to stop post counting, I did manage to mask any other trace of the existence of a test thread by moving it from one sub-forum to another that only the staff could see. The theory is sound and I stand by it. WE'VE BEEN PRANKED! I'm shutting down now. Goodnight, all. |

Giant gaping holes in your theory: 1. Drastically diminished post counts. That can only happen by someone either manually changing them (which would be an awful lot of work, and would not be instantaneous) or by massive post deletion. 2. MHG hasn't been around the Forum for almost a year. That most likely was someone else, not her. 3. If it is a prank, then the Admins are the only ones in on it. None of us Mods knows a blasted thing. (At least I don't anyway). |
