OPERATION LINUX UPDATE - Houston, we have a bunch of crap

Sound is not working. The computer I have it installed on is old, and has an old sound card. We don't even know what it is, and we can't even find it through any programs (maybe because it's attached to the motherboard? I don't know). Not only does it being old prohibit me from hearing any sound, but it slows it down. A lot.

Oh, and the interface? User friendly. Package installation interface/idea? Computer wizard friendly. I am no computer wizard. It took me forever to figure out how to install stuff...partly.

Operation halted. File this one under "to sort out later...MUCH later".

Then your "you do live in Texas" quote is meaningless.
Unless you live in Texas, too...

Does the title relate to Canadian political parties in any way?

No it doesn't.

It is ZAMZAR.

Pretty much it's a conversion site. I use it to rip the audio from YouTube videos, but I think you can also convert YouTube videos to iPod format with it also.

Just a helpful li'l thing.

As the resident Virginian round these parts, I'm going to have to place the emphasis on our more Western black sheep brother we don't ever talk about.

As the cooler resident Virginian round these parts, I must agree with Capt.

EDIT: This cooler resident Virginian is also about to get pounded by thunderstorms. Yaaay...!
