Honestly, though, would you have been happy with any Banjo Kazooie 3 information that didn't involve it being released for the N64?

But remember the whole Mumbo/Humba transformation aspect from 1 and 2? Won't the vehicle thing kinda be like that?

Honestly, though, would you have been happy with any Banjo Kazooie 3 information that didn't involve it being released for the N64? I really don't understand everyone's HUGE loathing of this game, or Rare in general. Yes, they were bougth by Microsoft, but does that automatically mean everything they do is horrible? HAVE SOME FAITH.

I was actually incredibly hyped about this game being on the 360. Information revealed thus far: Huge overworld. That's cool. Vehicles as part of the gameplay with over 1,600 parts to customize them with. Plus, the vehicles can shift into other vehicles if you'd like them to. That's amazing. Appears to be mostly metal-themed. Not cool. Vehicles taking up much of the main gameplay, with traditional Banjo-Kazooie platforming at this point in time appearing to get the short end of the stick. Definitely not cool. Banjo still looks horrid. Many of the moves from the past games won't be available, including the split-up technique from Banjo Tooie. It's not called Banjo Threeie. I'm sure that this game has the potential to be good, but from what they've released so far, it simply looks poor to a person who has played the original two games for 100+ hours. I'll have to see some videos to get rid of my doubts about them neglecting the platforming aspects of the original, but trying to make the game fresh with vehicles just doesn't seem like the Banjo I'm used to.

They were leaked from an event Microsoft is apparently doing. I found the images scattered throughout a thread on Neogaf, but apparently this Banjo Kazooie Wiki has the images up. RARE seems to be getting back on track as of late, though, but when they tamper with a formula such as Banjo Kazooie to make some of the fans say "Zoinks, it's innovative because it got the '360-treatment'!" then I start to question their actions. Of course, I still need to see gameplay videos (which will hopefully come out tomorrow) before I make a better judgment on this game.

You want platforming, go play some Ratchet and Clank or something. In Health we had the lady come in again. She showed us a video filled with hip young 20-somethins dancing in a misty purple room telling us to not have sex over and over again and then going "just thought you'd like to know". Then it cuts to stuff about condoms and about how they're still unsafe. Then it goes to one of the girls crying about how she was abused which kind of didn't have any context with anything else they were showing us.

Instead of all of the insane powerups from previous Banjo games like shooting eggs and dive bombing people with Kazooie, you're using different vehicles. It takes out what makes Banjo-Kazooie games Banjo-Kazooie games. This is an interesting concept, sure, but I would have loved to see it implemented into a new franchise. We really need more traditional platforming-esque games this generation.
