Okay, so I had to write an essay for a project in Geometry class yesterday, and I think I kinda overdid it. Keep in mind that Fairfax County Public Schools never really have essays that exceed a page in length, and that my Geometry class is basically a class full of people screwing around all the time (including me). So the project was about making the design layout to some imaginary house. So as the start of the essay, I'm all like: Quote: The mind is a temporary paradise, fountaining out thoughts and ideas every passing second for the better or the worse. People fuel their imaginative minds in different ways—some read books, some explore nature, and some just dream. The latter choice is the only thing that must be said about my inspiration for the design of this project. Dreams stimulate my thought process, making me review and revise them over and over again to ensure that I did in fact think of those thoughts during that one night of sleep, and to ensure that I will not lose said-thoughts in the future. I attempt to keep a dual version of the dream: the one that I originally had, with no other influence from other dreams, and the one that joined the melting pot to hopefully create a larger picture. For this project, I have brought together several of my past dreams, albeit haphazardly, in order to paint a picture of what a more upper-class home may appear as through my mind. So yeah... |
